hotel was dirty floors around lifts looked like they had not been cleaned for a while.
The mini bar and balcony view
Room Service was very bad. Bed was on rollers. Curtains were not covering the window. Shower not protected enough causing water to run all over the floor of the bathroom.
The location, service, cleanliness and comfort
Car Park facility was constantly obstructed and it was extremely challenging to drive in and out especially if you have a larger vehicle. More visible signage and space required.
Room was a bit small
location and price good
rooms too small carpark difficult to park in
The room was very comfortable although tiny & very clean. Bed was comfortable & heating was great. Good shower with hot water.
The tv was the tiniest we've had in a motel room in a long time! Parking was a bit dodgy - size of car was t asked & access was tiny.
Everything. Still haven't received my deposit back.
Very small tv for size of room. Very hard and uncomfortable bed. Cracks in bathroom sink porcelain.
I recommend the 1 bedroom apartment which has a good kitchen and a big bathroom with a washing machine and dryer. The balcony and the view was good. The staff were very efficient and pleasant and the room service super fast. The trams to the city and St Kilda stop right outside the door. How much better could it be!
Friendly staff, very clean, easy to use public transport. Very happy with position of hotel.
Towels had hair on them that wasn't mine. Bathroom had hair that wasn't mine. Walls had pen scribble. Furniture was very scratched. Hallway where room washad a bad smell.
Great location, friendly staff, very comfortable room. Food downstairs was very nice choice and well presented.
Having cooking facilities in the apartment would have been more convenient. Did not think that the hallways presented very well, chipped paintwork, bit dark....I notice because I am a real estate agent ! Charged $15.00 upfront for use of 1 nights vehicle parking which was not used ( on the last night ) From a security point of view Getting out from car in the rear laneway to activate the opening of the garage doors not very nice-security wise.
Price, street parking feasible on weekends, coffee shop next door, staff pleasant enough
windows open let in street noise, windows closed a bit stuffy. Ran the aircon but didnt sleep great.
The care park lift was difficult to get in and out of. Rooms are small.
Staff was kind and reliable. The restaurant calm and the food good. The building with a fascinating old styled hall. Room big enough, clean and comfortable
Cleanliness in common spaces was poor. Hoover seldom used or without care.
liked the kitchen, bathroom & laundry facilities
the bed wasn't very wide and made sleeping very uncomfortable
Great location with tram stop just outside. Room had everything we needed and was very clean. Would stay there again.
The room was very clean and tidy
Room was very small and the heater sounded like a airplane taking off!
The hotel was wonderful ,beautiful dinning .
We are very tall, bed was a bit small.
Very good value, clean and well located for a night out in the city. Good to get a free newspaper too! You don't need to pay for parking at the hotel as it's free right outside.
The room was an odd layout and would have been much nicer if it were open plan rather than very boxy. Also was hoping there would be a bath in the room.
I was given a small room which was adequate if arriving in at 6pm with an early departure. It had all the facilities required to have a dinner and breakfast and tucked up for a good nights sleep. However I was on the final day of a business mixed with leisure downtime and really wanted to admire the view of which I was only able to glimpse. Ringing reception the lovely gentlemen offered me an upgrade for a affordable price. On the 13th floor in a deluxe 1 bdrm I had the full view of Albert Park Lake and Port Phillip Bay with the Tasmanian Princess in dock. It was a great size and offered a kitchen w/dishwasher and washing machine/dryer in the more than adequate bathroom. The restaurant in the quirk hotel entrance offered very good priced meals and had a sign (although licenced) 'You are welcome to bring your own wine and share.' I actually had brought my own dinner to heat and sit and just breathe in the view... No free WiFi but I had my own so not to worry. I would certainly recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure. A tram ride (right outside the door) either way will take you to amazing places: NGV, Botanic Gardens, Melbourne CBD, Lygon St, Queen Vic Markets, St Kilda and amazing restaurants all in 10-15 mins. The bed was so comfy it felt like floating on air. Staff lovely, both afternoon and evening.
no air condition in master room.
good location just on the outskirts of the city and a short walk away from Albert park.
The room was very very small. The gap between the bed and the wall on both sides was only about 18-20 inches and if not careful while getting out of bed you were in danger of hitting your head against the wall .
staff are very helpful
Location was important for us - the room was a great size with great facilities and the staff were most helpful
