Good friendly service and welcome. Easy to request wake up call and they booked a taxi for us the next morning Our room was very musty and damp smelling. We were so tired that we just put up with it as we had a 4am start the next day. So we didn't raise it at the time unfortunately.

I liked the price and the convenience of the location. I expected a small room and was pleasantly surprised that though small, it was very well laid out and certainly did not feel claustrophobic or too small. Though many other residents were probably long term residents, the hotel was quiet and generally very friendly. I loved the ease of booking in and out and felt that as a budget hotel it excelled in comfort, cleanliness and service. The rooms were too hot and I didn't like the fact I could not adjust the heating without opening windows. I ended up with a migraine headache despite contacting the reception desk about the heat. I was told that someone had to adjust it manually and that they would send someone to do it. No one came and the temperature remained hot. I opened the window and spent the day unwell and unable to tell someone I had not had the heat adjusted as promised. This was the only thing I didn't like about the hotel.

Bed was very comfortable & I I'm glad I didn't have to pay a lot for it. Bed was near window, which I didn't like. Also no light in shower area or the fact the toilet was in shower area as well. Also my room was cold & I could work heating.

Bed was really comfy :) Neat little room, clean, modern. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pizza from diner for dinner, yum. Absolute bargain. Would definately stay again :) beware - that silver handle above the toilet does not flush the toilet. it does however demonstrate the awesome water pressure in the shower! lol the buttons to flush the toilet were hiding under the hand towel... :) big thanks for the heater and for not laughing at me too much!

Sorry no positive experience Arrive start of long weekend, had to wait for long time, only one person on duty, running around because a customers roomcard did not work. Carpets in hotel very dirty...not vacuumed in halls. Smelled like smoke in corridors. We were booked into wheelchair friendly room. Basin at my big tall husband's knees. No plug in basin. Asked assistance with toothbrush, was sent to hotel next door's shop which closed 7hours ago...did he not know that? Bedside lamp was broken. Alarm went of in hotel next morning for no readon. Could not be fixed. We left snd it was still going. Not at all wort the money spent. Looked like it the people working there are all interconnected.

Not much. Wifi and parking at reasonable price although they could be free. It is a tiny and wrongly made copy of Cabin Inn, made as hencoop. Other guest's hairs welcome you in your bathroom, no daily cleaning. Staff could be more receptive.

The restaurant food is good quality and not too expensive. There are BBQ facilities available too if you want to stick to a budget. The staff are helpful and friendly, and respond quickly to queries. The air-con temp wouldn't change,so if you're too warm or too cold there's nothing for it but to grin and bear it. The rooms were made up every day,but could have been cleaned with a bit more attention to detail. There were spillage stains on the wardrobe and drawers where someone must have spilled tea or coffee and these were not cleaned. Also, the rooms need curtains and not just blinds as they don't keep the light out in the morning and you're woken up at 5am if you are facing that direction.

Conveniently located 10mins walk from Bell rail staion with frequent service to the city centre and back. Meals including buffet breakfast are served next door at the Rydges restaurant. Food and service OK, BUT very overpriced, especially as the S&G is billed as budget accomodation.
