Great Restaurant providing room service Clean tidy rooms Friendly staff Walking distance to St Andrews War Memorial Hospital
Not a lot of parking spaces.
Comfort,convenience,value and helpful,pleasant staff
balcony, nice view...
there is not elevator...
Long walk uphill with luggage Long walk up stairs to third floor with luggage I am 67 and struggled to get up stairs with luggage room very small
10 mins walking distance
Not enough parking space
Loved the friendly staff and the convenience of the property. Despite the small room, the tiny balcony allows a view and fresh air.
We were a bit thrown by the stairs, lack of lift. Heavy luggage , being dragged up the stairs, was not good. I did not see a warning about lack of lift on the website, and was concerned about the number of quite elderly people staying there.
Affordable price, very clean, has everything you need, good shower pressure!
Room is very small, not much wardrobe space.
How close to the CBD without being right in the centre of town. Good facilities, helpful staff, bus stop at door and ease of access. Not too expensive. Steak cooked just the way I like it. Laundry facilities. Parks just across road.
Close to the city Quiet and secluded
No nibbles with the tea/coffee No bottled water in the fridge
Room was very soundproof - could not hear anything outside room which made for great and peaceful sleeping.
one staff member friendly the other very standoffish and "I'm better than you" type Would have liked to know about parking situation before booking as we were lucky to get the last park (uncovered that is).
Convenience close to city and transport.
Room was tiny. No space at all. Very limited parking for guests.
great location, very helpful staff, safe, clean and enjoyable atmosphere.
Arriving at 4.55 am, we were extremely grateful that we were able to check in at 7 am. Close to city. Close to train station.
Location, cleanliness, value for money

Very clean, staff very friendly, quite comfortable and very affordable.
No Lift, not enough car parking spaces, the undercover parking that is there is quite hard to get into.
the bed was good, the room small but nicely set out, good shower
Proximity to the city Free wi-fi Clean and tidy Breakfast 11 am check out
Small and old Would be a tight squeeze to have two people in the room Breakfast only between 7 and 9
The wifi was alright
Limited parking, balcony door was jammed and wouldn't open, thr bed was very hard.
Understated elegance in decor. Rooms small but very adequate. Room staff very friendly and helpful with baggage.Young lady in the part time restaurant downstairs extremely welcoming and made us feel comfortable.
Reception area too small with nowhere adequate to sit if early for book in. Ok if young and heathly but as I was sick and my husband terminally ill we spent a couple of uncomfortable hours sitting in the park opposite.
position in Brisbane
not much to complain about
The staff were very friendly and helpful The restaurant had a limited menu but the meals were excellent
Location was very convenient for city exploration & access to public transport. Room small but clean & comfortable.
- Location was great. 7-10 minute walk to the city center, which is great! - Very nice and effective staff. - Free wi-fi which was working just perfectly!
- Interior looks very old. - smells really bad (smell of food) in the room when they work in the hotel restaurant. - very very small room and too expensive for what you actually get. You can hardly open 2 suitcases on the floor. Actually you can, but you won't get to the bathroom any more. If room was more spacious and if the interior was a bit more attractive, it would be worth the money due to its location.
close to Brisbane Private hospital
a block of old flats tiny tiny room tiny tiny onsite hit my head on towel rack getting up from toilet loud, could hear every person who came in bad street noise
