Great location, close to everything!
Bed is not comfortable. Not enough parking space at peak hour.
The location and views
Location The view Peaceful comfortable The balcony Great staff Walking distance to everything
No Bathrobe Need window upstairs
The location was great. The staff were great. The room was clean
Outdated Expensive for what you get Too noisy over the resturant
Position wonderful, walked to all the great restaurants, views great, staff friendly. We stayed in the premier room which had a balcony and better view than the other side. It has an ensuite upstairs as well as bathroom downstairs . King bed was so comfy!
May be a bit pokey for a long stay, and a little noisy, as hear voices next door.
Location. Location. Location
I only stayed one night, bed was so comfortable. We didn't spend much time in apartment as Location was great close to everything. Staff were lovely, even the lovely cleaners who all said hello as you walk passed. I just wish they had a coffee machine in the rooms
The side of the building we were allocated afforded lovely waterfront views
A $600 per night room here gets you beautiful views over the waterfront (if you are on the right side of the building) but everything else is pretty ordinary. The decor has seen better days, flaking paint & grubby grouting in the tiles. No tissues (Reception said they were in a cupboard because leaving them on the bathroom bench they get wet... for $2 they can't supply a new box for each guest?), tea, milk etc were not replenished & had to ring down to Reception & ask. No mini bar. No morning newspaper. Rooms very stuffy as openings one side only & no air flow through - strong smell of human body/foot odour upon entry that took hours to dispel. No air-con, only heating, and one (very, very noisy) bedroom ceiling fan which had to be kept on all night due to the noisome stuffiness. A two-bedroom apartment was booked, but turns out it was a double room off an open mezzanine with two single beds. No door. Entrance to hotel very poorly signed - if approaching by private car for first time it is almost impossible to work out its location due to the confusing presence of restaurants & bars in the building. Parking is first-in to reserved area which doesn't appear well policed to keep out restaurant patrons. Good thing you can walk to so many popular destinations. All in all it's a lovely location, handy to some fine restaurants, jumping-off points etc, But so are many other hotels in the area, so if you are looking for a little luxury for your $600 per night, don't spend it here!
The view. The location. The helpful friendly staff.
The kitchen sink tap was loose
The room was comfortable and clean and location was brilliant with nice out look
Apart from changing to a different hotel nothing.
We were travelling as group of 2 couples. The hotel room was advertised as spacious and 2 bedrooms. The room was not spacious but pokey. The bedroom with a door had no window or ventilation. The room was that small the door would not close as the bed was in the way. The other "bedroom" was a loft with with no door to close. It was totally unacceptable. We asked for our money to be refunded, booked out and found another hotel. All stressful at the time.
We really enjoyed staying here
Walls are a bit thin
The location was great, being right on the pier and close to everything.
Way overpriced. It is a little run down, just like a 1980s Gold Coast apartment. The plumbing is awful with waterhammer, hissing pipes, low-pressure and loose fittings (room 32). The walls are thin too. Never again.
Great view, Central location, plenty of space
Mostly comfortable and relaxing views of harbour.
Very very noisey shuddering/ clunking water pipes waking us up every time someone turned on a tap in the apartments around us. Echoed through whole room.
Very poor sound proofing. Noise outside travels into room including from rock concert on adjacent pier. Woken by noise from fan hitting the wall, and shower in room next door. Very poor insulation.
Location, location, location. Absolutely beautiful to wake up to a view of the Lady Nelson and that beautiful Hobart docks/wharf precinct. Staff are great; really helpful, lots of personality and no plastic smiles. Lay out of the apartment was clever, practical and very workable. The bed was really comfortable with lovely linen.
The maintenance has been neglected: there were broken window handles, the worst noisy plumbing of any place we have stayed, cracked tiles and a general air of the need for a refurbishment of the property.
no debit card payment
I could hear the toilet flushing all the night from neighbour. The air conditioner has too loudly noise.
The view, the two story apartment, the location was the best, and tthe staff were friendly and helpful.
it says it is a two bedroom but it is one bedroom with two single beds in an open space. NOT at all happy that this is not explained in the advertising kitchen was too small to be workable. utensils supplied were cheap and flimsy
Location location location nice people working there
Location, convenience, cleanliness
Apartment a little dated, balcony apartment would have been preferable, busy weekend in Hobart during our stay and although the booking was made well in advance, rate was very high for a room only stay, and I don't believe value for money in comparison to other accommodation offerings
Great unit with good facilities and everything in walking distance.
Not a total negative but a Nespresso machine would have been amazing : )
Location Design Staff friendliness Clean
The studio apartment has the bedroom upstairs. It is a long way downstairs to the bathroom. As long as that is what you are expecting then the apartment is excellent.
