Great unit with good facilities and everything in walking distance.
Not a total negative but a Nespresso machine would have been amazing : )
Location Design Staff friendliness Clean
The studio apartment has the bedroom upstairs. It is a long way downstairs to the bathroom. As long as that is what you are expecting then the apartment is excellent.
Compared to expectation from price and website photos, the sleeping areas were cramped, small, stuffy, dusty and noisy. Second sleeping area had no wardrobe and there was no ventilation to speak of. Kitchen area had strong smell of dirty towels. Bathrooms had mould and were old, fans did only work now and then and were very noisy. Overall, very poor value for money.
The proximity of apartment to most leisure activities
We expected 2 proper bedrooms but only one bed with loft area! Also being on waterfront expected a verandah! Maybe I needed to read spec better! But a bit disappointing for price!!!
Everything On a personal level I would have liked to be on the sunny side of the building and could not choose this from the booking form.
Staff are very nice and helpful. Good dinning restaurants down the hotel, around the pier and a lot of shops at Salamanca Place.
The staff were great and the apartment was comfortable for two. The view was amazing and location was so close to everything.
Bathrooms are in need of a little love and care. Cracked tiles and grout which needs a good clean put me off.
Floor plan of our 2 bedroom unit. One bathroom between main bedroom and mezzanine room. Noisy if getting up in the night. Have to put light on and noisy fan goes on too. Bedrooms very hot. Could hear people in next door unit very clearly.
It's advertised as a two bedroom but the second is on a landing with no privacy. Fan came in when light came on and so noisy it was annoying. Paying extra 2% because we used credit card is ridiculous.
Beautiful views and competent staff.
Uncomfortable when sleeping, way too hot upstairs
Location, veiw, rooms, cleanliness, definitely return.
Everything really. Matthew & James at Front Desk were excellent - efficient, obliging, professional - all requests done with a smile. Our room was very quiet overlooking the water so we enjoyed every minute.
Shower curtain not very practical & the toilet made a loud 'moaning' sound when flushed.
Obviously the view sucks you in.
Take away the view and you have an average facility. The acoustic property of the walls appears non existent. The first night conversations from the adjoining room were audible. The clinking of cutlery could be heard. The second night there was a function in the conference centre. I could understand the lyrics. Whenever anyone turned a tap on or flushed the toilet it sounded as if a gas bottle valve was turned on. A loud hissing noise. The bathroom requires renovation. There was black mold in the grout and hair stuck on the drain/jets of the bath.
The hotel is located in a great area.
great location a walk from city and salamanca markets and good eateries. Good space and comfortable furnishings great to have laundry and kitchen facilities and balcony right on the pier.
Beds very hard pillows even harder and bathroom very old and out dated for $475 per night! The water was very hard to regulate and would be a hazard for burns. Cleaners did not refill the bathroom and laundry supplies every day and although I can not prove it I am positive they went through my luggage! So best to take a photo of how your luggage was left so you can prove that they have gone through your things! Staff did not really seem interested on check out if we had any comment on the stay! Did not even show me the bill before charging it to my card!
Location to everthing Views amazing Quiet, peaceful, homely
Room price is too excessive as not a grand hotel! Bathroom downstairs from bedroom
Location, bed, views
Cleanliness, noisy heater
location, view, and staff were great, have told everyone to visit.
no oven, heater was noisy so we could only have it on for a while, had to turn tv up. Parking, we had to beat everyone back to get parking space.
The fact that the bathroom was down stairs and bed room up stairs...didn't like that at all. But the housekeepers were lovely and staff very nice.
Location Set out of apartment Friendly and accomodating staff Closeness to main shopping precinct Access to restaurants, water activities and salamanca market
Beautiful location close to mona ferry
No room service on the weekends. Reception understaffed.
Perfect, central location, within walking distance of tourist information office, buses and many places of interest. Ours was a comfortable, sunny apartment with great views of the water.
The only disappointment was the very loud water pressure noise from the shower of an adjoining room.
Great views and location
Bathroom is very tired and old style Bath needs re-grouting
