lovely clean and modern apartment right on the Esplanade, little traffic noise, beach right there. Plenty of dishes etc

I think it was rather expensive The microwave was different to ones I have used and no instructions in the apartment. The TV needs to have better reception

Only minor issue was my wife found the bed quite uncomfortable, but that is just a personal thing. Other people probably would find it good.

We chose the Southern Cross Apartments because we have stayed there before. They are a short walk from the Burleigh shopping strip and safe swimming beaches. The area feels dynamic. The Apartments themselves are very comfortable. The building has excellent security, and good undercover parking.

I loved the view and sound of the ocean from my apartment on the 13th Floor. All apartments have ocean views. Unit and bedding was clean. Price of the unit was within our budget which was not so for some of the more modern units. Manager provided quick pleasant service when advised that smoke alarm battery needed changing. Location to takeaway's and restaurants was great. I would definitely stay here again - loved it.

Decor, tiles, toilet fittings were old and tired and need updating. Some of the furnishing needs repair ie. handles on drawers, stiff windows. I was happy to accept the above as the price of the unit was within our budget which was not so for some of the more modern units. Unit was clean which I believe outweighs the older decor etc.

Nice, spacious room. Excellent, friendly staff. Very comfortable sofa'S. Good foxtel. Very nice swimming pool. Close to bus stops and convenience store.

The kitchen equipment provided looked like it was just bought at random op shops, missing a few things but overall okay. Bad phone coverage, had to step outside to use my phone. Bedheads weren't attached to wall or mattress, just propped up, so they fell over sometimes.

Great location; generously sized rooms; excellent kitchen and laundry facilities in the unit - great when holidaying with kids.
