It wasn't right in town so it was a quiet location. It was well-presented inside however looked a little dated from the outside. Close to Salamanca Place where great food and good shopping was found. I was in town for business and fortunately my business location was the same end of town, otherwise it would have been a little inconvenient if I needed to be right in town.

Like I said I was in town on business and it suited my business needs, but it may not suit everyone's business needs given its location.

Location was perfect for access to the Salamanca precinct

Renovations occurring at time of stay was a little inconvenient however staff were very vigilant in ensuring patrons were aware of the disruptions and options available

Loved the location and ease of reaching other parts of Hobart .once work has finished would stay there again

Construction works were intrusive, smelly and noisy. Parking was difficult due to trucks etc. However finisihing and staring times not a problem

Great price and great location. Modern bathrooms, lots of room. Co-located with a bottle-o which was convenient.

Construction outside and inside the hotel - outside building and roadworks made parking tricky at times; inside renos were noisy at times.

The staff ie Kathryn Claire & Heather were a delight and they went out of their to make sure were happy. They are staff need commending

Great location. Very clean and presentable rooms with lovely touches (Robert Timms coffee and beautiful bathroom products).

Great deal with extras such toileteries replaced as used, modern facilities, foxtel, quiet and private. All in all .. Good value.

Close to Salamanca Place and the CBD....

Next to a bottle shop so a bit noisy at times....

I thought that the room was modern, clean and spacious. It is nice and close to the water front and Salamanca. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Defiantly going to be staying there again

Excellent location, walking distance to Battery Point cafes & restaurants, short dawdle to the famous Saturday morning Salamanca markets & Sandy Bay shops & restaurants. Bottle shop with extensive selection next door. Comfortable well appointed rooms, comfy beds, good linen, extra pillows, air con, handy kitchenette, wall mounted TV with longe seats to relax in, quality bathroom products, big soft towels, balcony for sun & fresh air. Lift access to upper floors, friendly & informed staff. What else do you need for a comfortable short stay? We stayed 4 nights in April 2013.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Clean spacious rooms with decent kitchen facilities. Ideal place to stay with baby/young child. Staff at front desk were very helpful. Free wifi and parking was also helpful.

The eateries & sites recommendations from staff were great! We certainly ate well & enjoyed Hobart town!

I liked that access to Salamanca Square and Constitution Dock, for the ferries, was walking distance. I also thought the $3.50 per person, breakfast was a great deal for those that dont require a big breakfast
