Nice people, but the apartment was rather expensive for a room with no view of the outside world. It seems a pity to be in such a beautiful city and the only window looked into an internal light well.
It rained most of our stay so having the IXL 2br penthouse meant we could hangout with our 9 month old baby in the apartment without feeling stuck in a hotel room! Its only about a 15min walk into town.
Being a bit picky but it would have been nice to have a roof over the balcony as its unusable including the BBQ in bad weather.
Fantastic modern apartment with all the amenities hidden behind the 100 year old facade on Hobart's scenic Salamanca place. Couldn't be in a better location, and have such a well equipped.apartment. Reception staff was most helpful and welcoming, Michelle in particular!
minor issue- narrow stairs required to be negotiated with luggage etc but Sullivan's emailed me before staying and notified of this so it was not a surprise.
We stayed in the Salamanca Apartment and it was amazing. The two bedroom apartment is set within one of the old sandstone buildings along Salamanca and has all the modern features and creature comforts. The two balconies and bbq were great for us to entertain friends. The location puts you in the heart of hobart but is so quite that you can get a good night sleep.
That I couldn't stay longer
Proximity to restaurants and shops was great. Trip to MONA was easy as apartment is close to wharf. No need to take the car out as we could walk everywhere in the town area.
Being claustrophobic, Gibson's Mill apartment was too closed in. Staff were fantastic and moved us to a brighter more open apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Dark, noisy - no opening windows, so no fresh air. No outlook except a very close brick wall. Not as advertised!
The apartment is in such a great location and so lovely to spend time on the balcony. The apartment is well appointed and so comfortable. No need for a car. we had a fantastic weekend
A BBQ would be great
Beautiful apartment.big, modern, great beds, Nespresso machine. Very helpful staff.
Internet was terrible. Connection was interrupted all the time. Light switches were centralised and a big pain. Took 10 minutes to get them switched on and then off. Too high tech. Both bathrooms were problematic. One had a bath so deep a couple our age cannot use it, not even to shower. The other had 2 showers with no barriers and everything got soaking wet.
The location is within easy reach of the city and the Boat Festival. Whilst the check in/out was a little distance from the apartment the logistics were well explained.

Apartment had everything you were looking for including nice wine glasses for drinking nice wine. Very clean and was serviced everyday.
Large Staircase to apartment, very difficult for carrying heavy suitcases,
Accommodation was immaculate. Very clean with all amenities. Rooms were decorated in a lovely style with original Aboriginal artwork. Very impressive and luxurious.Within easy walk to all the main sights.
View and kitchen
A bit tired for the price
Great location,minutes away from ferries, restaurants, markets and shopping. Staff were on call 7 days, taxis were just a few minutes away. The apartment was clean and tidy with plenty of room, facilities in the apartment were good.

Noisy at night, bedrooms not very private due to the glass partitions.
The position was fantastic, staff were very helpful and the apartment was quite luxurious and very secure.
The bedrooms were on a mezzanine level and were too hot. A cooling system upstairs would be beneficial. The master bedroom was too small with a slanting ceiling (which I banged my head upon more than once) but the twin room was a better size.

Excellent location. Walk to city, Salamanca market, MONA ferry etc. Spent 7 nights in Room 506 with view (over existing building roofs from Sandy Point to Mt Wellington . Cooking on BBQ is distracting as view is lovely. Two levels with 3 Bed/2 Bath. Ideal for family or 2 couples, Very Comprehensive kitchen/laundry. Twin showers in en-suite with French bath products is most rejuvenating ! Car parking is very good and easy to use. Highly Recommend.
Two annoying issues for a property of this calibre & cost. Could not connect to WiFi due to apparent password change (Unsuccessful with both Apple IPad & Microsoft Surface Pro). Noise from dripping rain & wind on sheet metal ducting near master bedroom needs attention (Have advised management). Note that the heavy rain & gusty wind on this particular January 2015 day was very unusual and most unseasonal.
