The Beach Motel Hervey Bay

Good value for our stay, we only wanted a bed at night and a car park off street

distinct lack of car parking offstreet and close to the room we were in. Could do with carpet replaced in the room we were in and TV is dated, but better means higher cost.

Staff most helpful. Apartment clean, our toilet flush broke and a new cystern installed,quick to repair/replace. Towels changed daily. Excellent location for walks to marina and beach.

The rooms were well appointed and clean. Close to restaurants etc and across the road from the beautiful beach.

The Motel itself is set in very attractive grounds and the staff were friendly.

Where to start...there was rubbish around the grounds including scraps of food which were not cleaned way during our stay. The room could have been lovely as it was very spacious with a pleasant aspect but the carpet was all worn and stained (really greusome). Bathroom also grubby...hair (long and short) all around the edges. Didn't want to walk around in bare feet the whole stay.Yuk! Ceiling all stained from water damange looked concerning. Couldn't connect to wi-fi except in carpark. Lastly, we got locked out of our room.....got back 6.05, reception closed an hour early. Note on door gave number to phone...we had no pen, no phone, had to go to phone box in rain.... Unbelievable! Such a shame....promised so much....spoilt our visit to Hervey Bay.

Quiet, Close to beach.

I was disappointed there was no microwave oven. I had bought food to heat so i need not waste money on take away. This said I enjoyed the fish from Maddigans.

Hotel restaurant not open. Not many people staying - being refurbished? Had to sit my pool to pick up Wifi signal.

Beautiful Gardens make each room a private garden. Close to netted beach for ocean swimming.

Very roomy for 3 bedroom apartment. Great location, value for money.

Need air con in all 3 bedrooms. Downstairs toilet needs repair.

The reception arranged a great trip to Fraser Island!

Bats flying all around in the gardens at the evening, really spooky!!! Loud air condition. A duck was swimming in the pool - ugly!
