Rooms were lavish staff were attentive. Dissapointed that the bar closed so early on a sat night. Would hav been nice with some type of musician playing. Would hav spent more in there :) Room service was cold waffles didnt cum with syrip. Valet who parked our car nudged the car behind insted of getting out and looking, it took me shouting oi stop before he did! It might sound pedantic but attention to detail is key!!

The staff are really friendly and always looking to help in anyway they can. Good atmosphere and very comfortable. Plus a great location. If youre missus likes shopping its in the prefect place!

Traditional bath is nice. Beds were very hard. Staff at Reception and front desk are friendly. My husband attempted to utilise the bar in the evening and one of the male bar staff were rude as there was no seating available at that time. We visited the bar later that evening and the service was slow even though they were not busy. We had to request an update on the progress of a wagyu burger as it was very slow and we thought they had gone to "kill the beast." Coffee from room service was not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel and there should not be a $5.00 charge for room service.

Very spacious rooms, well appointed bathroom and an outstanding inner city location. Concierge staff were rude and dismissive. They are the street level entry contact point as as such create your first impression of the hotel - which from my experience was not good. This is a pit as all of the rest of the hotel staff I came into contact with were very polite and professional, unfortunately the concierge seemed to feel he had more important things to do than engage with hotel patrons.

Wonderful service from every single member of staff. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. This hotel has real heart and the location is perfect. The Christmas celebrations helped make the festive season away from home a very happy experience. Thanks again to all the staff who worked so hard during the holiday period.

Nice and close to darling harbour. Spa was nice. Valet parking staff were excellennt. The bed was uncomfortable, not supportive, too bouncy when one person rolled over disturbed the other. The television didnt work and when we are for it to be fixed at 9pm, no one came to fix it. When we arrived home 1am still not working. We were very disappointed. The steam room was broken, hot water just pouring out on the floor.

Conveiniant location. Room price reasonably cheap for 5 star. But dont think it was a real 5 star hotel at all... Just 5 star prices!!! Overcharged on checkout. Doubled my dinner bill from $150 to $300 & also added in a $97 tip??? Restaurant and mini bar ridiculously expensive! Ate at restaurant on first night and was ripped off with meal order. they had run out of oysters and only had 10. but for some reason still managed to charge me for 12 + even extra. price on menu said $30 for 12. I was charged $37 for 10??? very over priced hotel considering i have stayed at way better for less & def not 5 star

Location near shopping. Breakfast at club lounge was disappointing. Limited choices of food, everyday for 5 days stay is exactly the same food.

We did a bit of shopping which was within easy walking distance from the motel. We also attended a concert at the State Theatre which was just across the road from the motel. It was very convenient. The beds were a bit hard but otherwise we did not have a problem.

We were treated like King and Queen at Swissotel. We were upgraded to the executive suit which was a bonus. I would recommend this place to everyone. Great place 10/10.

Location was excellent. Staff very proffesional. All round great place to stay will recommend to family and friends. After ordering iced coffee and being told it would be at our table in 5 minutes, 15 minutes later it had still not arrived. I asked for my money back and was given it promptly without question....sorry but I had a plane to catch.

We were well looked after. The staff were always available and ready to help. They were polite and friendly. I like to have a top sheet. The bed had a bottom sheet and a dooner. Sometimes the dooner is too hot.

Great location, staff generally very helpful and friendly. Light and bright rooms. Very good breakfast and nice heated pool. I upgraded to the Exec floor and the only hiccup was they were very late opening the afternoon tea session and took a lot of prompting from several guests to start.

Very central location in cbd. Rooms are still same design as original. Need renovation. Just one bar / restaurant in hotel, no nice bar on top or somewhere even in such good location and tall building. Everything looks just used. Office chair in my room was dirty like hell, from... You maybe can imagine yourself. No further explanations about that... Best in room was the Nespresso coffee maker.

I think it would be great to offer free wifi / internet to all hotel guests. For the price in a 5 star hotel, this service should be given for free. In today's day and age, everyone needs to access their emails (even if on holiday break).

For the price paid for this hotel, we definately got what we paid for and much more. At our first arrival at the hotel, we were amazed at how this hotel was located in the heart of the CBD. Literally all the shopping malls were at our door step literally. We were greeted by friendly staff, and were also given the priviledge to check in early, as we had a early flight to Sydney. So we had a good nap in the hotel room, which was very clean and cosy.

I was extremely impressed with the service from staff. As our room was not ready in time staff went out of their way to offer complimentary services. We also really enjoyed that we could use the pool facilities prior to our room being ready as the main reason I booked this motel was because of its beautiful outdoor pool and we wanted to have a relaxing day in the sun before our evening show we were going to. It was absolutely beautiful. I also thought the express check out was great so that I didn't have to queue up for check out. Thank you

Service was excellent. No dressing gown and slippers (5 star?) Pool very small and not "rooftop" as advertised. No entrance lobby between bedroom and corridor (noisy)
