Its location. Our stay at the hotel was disappointing. Firstly, the staff were polite but absent-minded and they did not have their heart in their job (especially so on the 8th floor reception area - they were better at the ground floor). There was a mix-up with our room and the requested double smoking room had not been reserved for us, necessitating a move to a lower floor room. We did not like the arrangement with the two lifts, it was inconvenient and wasted time. The 8th floor reception area was decorated in very poor taste and the blue and pink lighting made the lounge/bar area look cheap. |

view was incredible....we were on 25th floor. Huge bathroom. Coffee machine, I loved.Loads of hanging space, and room safe was an excellent addition. Yes, well, we booked an advantage room, but we were put into a business room. A little disappointing, considering that it was a valentines day celebration for us. Other than that, all wonderful. |

Very clean and modern rooms, breakfast was very good, excellent staff. Only issue was construction work opposite the hotel, but hotel could not be faulted for this. |

The food in the bar and restaurant were fantastic. The mini bar was not stocked regularly, the shower door did not shut properly and made the bathroom floor very slippery, the room doors were very noisy when shut, making sleep very disrupted. |

Excellent room and huge bathroom, Good breakfast and Very friendly staff It took a long time to get our luggage brought to the room at our arrival and the private parking is expensive (25 AUD/day for secured parking 4 blocks away or 50 AUD/day for Swisshotel parking in basement of the hotel) |

Relaxed atmosphere, quality service from all departments. Breakfasts were the only meals we had at the hotel and these were excellent. The central location is excellent. This was my second time at Swissotel Sydney and was as a result of a fine first time in April 2009. One of our bags was temporarily lost on arrival. The handbasin drainage was poor and the toilet flush cistern overflowed for a few minutes before the float valve closed. Room 1506. |

The location is excellent. Our room was nice and the bathroom had a separate bath along with a stall shower. The staff, excluding one bellman, were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. |

Very quick and easy check in and out The bar closed just as the Show across the road finished. They could have stayed open for another half an hour. |

What was needed was provided. Trying to find the way in when teh Conciege desk was untended - no signs to say how to get to Reception on the 8th Floor.... Staff need to point out where the house lifts are too (after check-in)... |

yeh though the tv could be better without the lines and thought the drinks in the fridge were why over priced and think the coke and soft drinks should be free, and l think if you are staying in your hotel the parking of the car should be free |
