Het hotel ligt ideaal om Sydney te verkennen. De bus naar het centrum en de trein stoppen naast het hotel. (overigens geen last gehad van lawaai) De kamer was schoon en mooi. Het personeel zeer behulpzaam. Je kunt je koffers in bewaring geven. Onder het hotel is een parkgarage, best prijzig. Verder is het in het centrum van de stad moeilijk om een parkeerplek te vinden, maak dus gebruik van het openbaar vervoer. (wat prima geregeld is) |

Het is gewoon een eenvoudig hotel, ga er niet naar toe als je Sofitel gewend bent. Locatie is wel buitengewoon goed gelegen. |

This was our first stay at the Mercure, we found it very handy to Central Railway Station as we were traveling to Melbourne the following day, just 5mins walk.Our evening meal in the restaurent was just beautiful,cooked to perfection, perfect will call in again if only for a lovely meal, Thanks Yes we were charged on our card before we arrived at the hotel, we have never experenced that before in any Hotel here or overseas. |

Close to all venues,ideal location,comfortable,restaurant was excellent, taxis easy and quick.staff were excellent,room was comfortable Not really,although a cold jug of water would have been nice in the fridge.And a bedside table was missing(1 is not enough). Alsowe felt the mini bar set up is not such a good idea. Maybe employ people at reception who can understand english a bit better. Other than that its a good hotel.Thanks Jon and Diana |

Being close to train and busses. Very dissapointed about the service on the first night at the Mecure. Complained 4 times between 10.30 and midnight regarding loud thumping music coming from the function the Mercure was having on the floor below our room. Was told we would have to either take a smoking room, { which we would not do as we are non smokers} or downgrade to a smaller room if we wighed to be moved. Was very dissapointed for the fact that we were allocated a room right above the rowdy function. We were very tired and had come off a long flight and the last thing we needed was to be kept awake till midnight. Apart from that it was a very pleasant room. I wouldnt recomend this hotel for the lack of compassion shown to us on the first night of four. |

It was a special weekend away for my friends 50th. The staff were courteous without being subservient, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, not too over the top, just right. The head desk clerk was grumpy and snapped at the polite young girl who was being very helpful and just needed clarification. It looked bad and we felt uncomfortable. |

Excellent chef for evening dining, good menu ad price. I did not appreciate havng to pay 1.5% charge for usng my card, especially as this is a requirement when booking. |

Location, concierge, and front desk staff were all excellent. Check in and check out was efficient. Final bill was itemized and correct. |

Beds were comfortable. Good selection at breakfast - although breakfast room very crowded on occasions. Bathroom was rather basic. Fairly long walk into the centre of town (although fairly convenient for China Town restaurants) |
