It's location being close to the cbd, The Rocks,...just close to all the action. The concierge.... No service in the handling of luggage...but then I was on and didn't want to make a fuss ....:(

The Menzies Sydney was conveniently located with helpful friendly staff. I felt that the Menzies Sydney was a good hotel at the discounted price that I was able to book it at. I would not have been satisfied if I had paid the advertised full price for the room.

The Hea Concierge - Andrew I think his name was, was so helpful and seemed really concermed tha is was raining and suggested lots of things for us to do and lent us an umbrella. We felt as though he really cared that we had an enjoyable stay. When our room was tidies, the bence above the fridge was not wiped dowm, nor did they leave clean face-clothes. Otherwise all good.

Location is great and staff were helpful. The water bottles on bedside tables were mistaken for complimentry so suggest they be placed in with bar fridge if to be charged to guests.

The staff were all very friendly and helpfully especially the concierge they were great with giving directions. The room was clean and the beds were comfy Only one small thing there was no towels in our room apon arrival so we called reception which we had to do twice because I think they forgot the first time but apart from that small thing the hotel was great.

I thouroughly enjoyed our stay at The Menzies. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside was the mattresses were soft and the bathroom certainly needed a makeover. As above mattresses and bathroom

The location is great. Walking distance to just about everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival we were offered a full buffet breakfast (for the following morning) for a reduced price of $21. My 15 Y.O. daughters breakfast was free. Good value for money. The standard twin configuration was 2 double beds. Perfect for my daughter and I. The rooms need a revamp. It was clean but the bathroom in particular needed new fittings. The aircon controls were either full blast or off.

The staff were very friendly and were quite helpful as it was the first time we had been to Sydney. The hotel was in a good location for all the local attractions and were easy to get to from the hotel. The room was very spacious.

Location was great - we just stayed one night - New Year's Eve. We left it too late to drive in, but being right on Wynyard station meant that was no problem. The staff were excellent and at the food was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our room - a standard double facing west was very tired. The bathroom needed a makeover, as did the decor in the room generally. Also, the thermostat on the air-conditioner seemed to be broken - meaning freezing cold, or off.

It is in an excellent vacation in the Sydney CBD within walking distance from both Circle Quay, Darling Harbor and the fashion malls. Very minimalist for the price, no frills.
