Very convinient to get around the city

Noise from the street and from outside the room.

The comfort and convenience of The Menzies suits me very well and I will be making it my preferred stay when in Sydney.

Feel the bathrooms are due for some updating.

It was a pity that I was offered a $50 voucher, and assured at check in that it could be used at the mini - bar. I ate one chocolate bar and at checkout was told that the minibar could not be used as part of the $50 - that's ok, but then a $4.00 amount was in fact charged to my credit card - a pity!

You can't say what you didn't like without complaining. You people just do not want the truth. 8/5/12 around 9.30am Again the "service" desk on departure STINKS. I had a 50 dollar free voucher issued to me on Menzies initiative. I used it to buy two breakfasts for $42. The young girl on the desk tried to get me to pay for the breakfasts, even though her screen, as it turned out, showed the voucher credit. Was this sloppy or was it shady practice? Why is an "error always in favour of the provider? The girl did not apologise, simply said, oh, yeah. They are all over you on arrival and all turned off when you go. AND they want a surcharge on a credit card – only on check out, not on booking. You won't publish this but DO TELL THEM!

Restaurent prices very high

we liked how close it was to public transport the station was across the park. with a good coffee shop down the corner and it was close to all the shops and very quiet it had a shop in the complex where we could buy food etc..the pool and gym were great for the kids and the staff were very helpful

i didnt like that the bathroom walls and toilet area were covered in mould...not a good start to a holiday when you have to clean the toilet yourself. the door didnt shut properly in the bathroom so the carpet kept getting wet...and there werent any blankets for the beds we kept asking but ??? its sad when an obviously once grand hotel goes downhill due to lackofcare and money

3Rd. Time I've stayed here, always consistent. Often has a bonus $50 for and beverage voucher on already well priced rooms. Staff are well trained, professional and friendly. The big thing for me is location, location, location. Literally a 10 minute walk to the bridge or opera house it is alos opposite the Wynyard underground station entrance, I mean 10 meters opposite! This means you can catch a train directly to and from either Sydney international or domestic airports and be delivered by train to the doorstop. If your business or travelling is in the Sydney cbd this can also mean there is no reason to spend money on a hire car as you can easily walk or get a train anywhere. Superb location!

Location near train and bus stops.

Wonderful location, close to train and ferry services. It is my first choice in Sydney.

well on entering the doors no one is their to help u with your luggage or a complamentry drink
