Quite and relaxing in a beauyiful location and a 5 minute drive from local amenities. I was extremely dissappointed when there were ants all over the bathroom floor and door along with the kitchem counter and wall.We reported this to the owner who turned up with a bottle of insect spray and began spraying the ants. When we requested that we be moved to another room we were told there was no other cottages available but he could leave us with the insect spray so that we could continue to spray the ants.As somebody that greatly dislikes insects I was not very happy when we discovered the ants had gotten nearer the bed and we found two on the pillows! To make matters worse Throughout the night we had to remove three cockroachs from the lounge area. When we met the owner the next morning and explained this had been a bad experience in a cottage where the rate was above average and we were not happy we were offered no apology or goodwill gesture!very dissappointed.

The location is very quiet, you don't hear any noise. It has a great deck where you can enjoy the surrounding nature. It also has cooking facilities and a fireplace. The cabin setup is very comfortable. Our stay has been very pleasant. The cabin could be better maintained. There were some spider nets, and a few minor things that could have been fixed.

Enjoyed the fireplace, liked having cooking facilities and spa. Overall for the price the guest house was ok, however the furniture was dated and uncomfortable- the couch completely sagged in the middle, and the dining chairs were stained. A more thorough cleaning would also be beneficial- the place was very dusty and I had to wash plates and pots before using.
