Good,
Score from 280 reviews
“ The staff are friendly and helpful, giving me tips like how to get to airport by starbus which only cost $20/pax, internet is free while Crown Promenade hotel charged $25/day. I like the location, close to tram station and walk distance to Rod Laver Arena.. I love it! they gave me discount when I extended my stay 2 more nights. Highly recommended! ”

The staff was very friendly. The price was reasonable for the area, right between the city and Chapel Street. The bed was comfortable and there is a nice park across the street for running. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom... luckily there are toilets near the lobby if you don't want to punish the person you're staying with.

The Mansion Suite was AWESOME!!! The bed ultimate comfort, large and relaxed room, awesome groovy bathroom. However would have been nice to use the fireplace though? Perhaps information for guests if we can use it.

Lovely location between the City and Toorak and just a 2 min walk to tram stop. Boutique hotel with a quirky charm in a pretty treelined street. Extremely comfortable bed, generous sized room, friendly.

Great to have a dog friendly hotel, opposite a dog friendly park too! Great location. Cramped room next to a noisy air conditioner. Parking very tight and not enough spaces for all guests.

The bed was clean and very comfortable. Nothing like the rooms in the photographs! The room was poor, no 'rock and roll' theme in our room just paint peeling off, toilet with years of stains (very old bathroom suites). Old school television with no remote control and only a few channels worked. There were interior design magazines on the side, I think the managers should give them a read themselves! We only needed somewhere to sleep for the night but was looking forward to it after seeing the website. I hate to say it but I have stayed in hostels that are more modern/clean than this place.

The bed is very comfortable. Comes with a small bathtub which is good for us since we have a 1+ yr old toddler with us. The hotel area is quite and nice yet close to a lot of restaurant. Free parking. The room that we had has no bathroom door. The room looks like still under renovation. Our phone and the TV remote control are spoilt.

I liked the bed and the neghbourhood in which is located. Also the stuff is very kind and the reception 24hours is very very confortable. We could check in also at 2 am. The hotel is old, the room had no windows but it was clean. I didn't like so much the fact that is quite far from the city center, even if there are many buses and tram to get there.

The beds were extremely comfortable, rooms were very clean & great location. Excellent value for money. The rooftop pool/garden area would provide great views of the city, if not for the 2 metre high lattice surrounding the entire area. The pool was also not available due to maintainence & not sure if it was heated.

We stayed here previously in the original double, that room was, lets say, disappointing. YOU CANT judge this hotel on that room. We stayed in the Millswyn Double Room it was unbelievably fantastic, enjoyed it 10/10! The staff are fantastic, the awesome guy who checked me in, the same for the ladies who checked me out. Groovy hotel! Looking forward to my June 2nd stay in the Mansion Suite Room. Thanks Albany! Nothing this time around.

The comfortable king size bed. Loved it. The floor was dirty, and there was a baby's bottle in the kettle.

It was very affordable with all the basics and comfortable bedding The room stank like chemicals maybe from the fridge. The freezer was thick with ice, it should be defrosted.
