Good,
Score from 244 reviews
“ The staff are friendly and helpful, giving me tips like how to get to airport by starbus which only cost $20/pax, internet is free while Crown Promenade hotel charged $25/day. I like the location, close to tram station and walk distance to Rod Laver Arena.. I love it! they gave me discount when I extended my stay 2 more nights. Highly recommended! ”

It was very affordable with all the basics and comfortable bedding The room stank like chemicals maybe from the fridge. The freezer was thick with ice, it should be defrosted.

Pet friendly: I chose this hotel because I could bring my dog with me. Great welcome from staff and I loved it being pet friendly. There should be more hotels taking this step! Very limited parking on site. Difficult to find street parking near hotel. Room was clean but a bit run down but the payoff was to have my dog with me. Very weird clear glass division and see through blind between bedroom and bathroom!

Really helpful and friendly staff and 24/7 reception is great. Nice bed sheets too! Would come back or recommend! Shower was really short so it suited me, but my 6'3 husband struggled something hilarious.

I have stayed here twice now and each time very happy with everything. Great for a city visit, good value for money, great location and all the food I have had is good quality, tasty and surprisingly reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!

Bed was super comfy Room was a good size Everything was clean Funky design. Older hotel that has been refurbished in a clever way. Nothing - exceeded my expectations for a sub $100 hotel room. Will stay again.

It is really a Bitter Experience staying at Albany Hotel - 1 Millswyn St , SouthYarra VIC ,i was in honeymoon we couple have experienced 3 Sleepless nights due to Bugs on the Bed , though we complained to the Front desk , no Proper Arrangements were made finally we applied the Itching cream on entire body and off to Airport and the si no Proper Channels coming on the TV which sould have avoided us to sleepless nights . the Design of the Washroom are the Worst ever seen in my life , there is no proper Shelves and shower stand to hold the cosmetics . very sad with the stay .

Its the only motel in Melbourne that is pet friendly and located across from Fawkner Park which is also pet friendly Parking was really restrictive. I booked a specific room but got allocated to another one which was ok but not as big.

Location, that it allows pets, pool even though its cold, some parking on site no charge (if your lucky), manager a great guy Noise levels unacceptable, partys and drunk people, 3 false firealarms waking me on different occasions, night staff are hopeless, problems with cable tv, this is a great place to come if you want to get boozed up, make lots of noise and not get thrown out!!
