Absolutely loved the Dudley..warm and friendly staff that make you feel at home. The most comfortable bed I've slept in and the best hot brekky. highly recommended.
Would highly recommend the Dudley - it was lovely on every aspect!
Fantastic breakfasts and welcoming bottle of champagne was a lovely touch!
Leaving, bit warm in bedroom
The very comfortable bed, the library with the open fire and magazines, the breakfast with soothing music and the friendly owners. Also liked the artwork and garden sculptures.
There was nothing not to like.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dudley. The hosts Paul and his wife Cate were wonderful. The accomodation was very comfortable and the food was superb. We highly recommend The Dudley Boutique Hotel. We will definitely go back too!!
Hospitable, beautifully furnished, with excellent attention to detail. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, comfortable & relaxing. Breakfast was first class,
Loved the warm welcome, the transformation of the historic building, the fluffy white towels, hotel quality linen, amazing breakfast, energetic service and fireside chats with our hosts Kate and Paul.
The bathroom is a little tired.
Everything it was well organised. A big thank you form both of us.
The hosts Paul and Cate are just wonderful nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful breakfast cooked by Cate, Paul drove us to our restaurant and even offered to come and pick us up. Library with a great selection of books and magazines and open fire.
Not staying longer!
Welcoming hosts, lovely house and delicious breakfasts.
We loved the warm friendly reception by Paul & enjoyed the facilities (honour bar & library room). Breakfast in the morning was exceptional quality & choice, home cooked by Cate. Our stay was very enjoyable & we would definitely recommend this property to others.
Our room lacked a coffee machine. A simple nespresso machine would've been great before breakfast.
The owners were just lovely and so helpful. My husband was ill while we there and they were very thoughtful. Also, finally a comfortable hotel bed, I didn't get up with back ache. The breakfast is just divine as well. The chocolates and champagne is a nice touch as was all the reading material.
There was nothing that I didn't like. Would have loved to have stayed longer.
Fantastic hospitality, looking after 75th year old birthday weekend.
Excellent hosts, chocolates and bottle of champagne upon arrival, public area with open fire and cosy couch, bed was so comfortable that we almost slept in, great homemade breakfast...
The bed was blocking some of the view of TV in the king room.
A beautiful old house with a lovely garden. Nice and peaceful surroundings. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Paul and Cate are great hosts offering advice on local sights to visit.
For some reason the wi-fi didn't work with our tablets.
Friendly welcome, unobtrusive help, amazing breakfasts, self-help honesty bar and coffee/tea facilities both well-stocked, library well-stocked, excellent hosts
Bedroom a little hot - perhaps a little guidance to guests needed
Everything about our stay at The Dudley was fantastic! Accommodation, location, food and overall hospitality was first class
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings of The Dudley, the meals were superb and nothing was too much trouble for Cath & Paul. Full credit to both them for making our three day stay so enjoyable.
Need to revise the location of the TV set in the bedroom perhaps a couple of armchairs would be more appropriate.
The service was superb, the room very cosy on a cold night, breakfast lovely.
Perhaps a little more music while having breakfast, found it very quiet
From the moment we were welcomed at check-in to the moment we left, we were delighted to be guests at such a lovely place. Cate and Paul were so accommodating and helpful in making our stay a memorable one. The hotel presents as a very well maintained, warm and inviting place and the breakfasts were outstanding. We hope to return in the future.
Lovely hosts. Yummy breakfast. Very peaceful stay.
Bedroom a bit too hot for us.
We spent three days over Easter feeling blessed. Paul and Cate have created the most wonderful B&B. From the moment you arrive until you leave, their hospitality, eye for detail and little extras were thoughtful and sublime. We will definitely be back and would rate them as the best B&B we have stayed at in Australia.
The fact we had to leave ;-)
- Ambience - Location - Friendly and welcoming hosts - Great food
- Not being able to control the temperature on the thermostats in the room
Excellent hosts, a lovely house, cosy open fires and very comfortable public areas. The breakfast is a special treat.
Our room was charming, although a bit small, considering our many pieces of luggage. This is, sadly, a common problem in many places : the rooms are perfect as long as you don't bring anything with you. Unencumbered and sturdy surface areas are generally hard to come by.
