Room size good. I like having a basin and TV in the room. Comfortable bed, clean. It would've been perfect if there was a small fridge.

Great staff, always very friendly. I like the Guest House - has so much potential - needs a paint job but it's so close to the city, I love it. They are also cycle friendly, so I love that. Sam is a great Manager. We were disapointed that the airconditiong unit was not working for the entire 8 nights in unit 3 we had booked. Management said they would fix this in the Guest House but was not fixed - they need to have fans in the rooms if not working as Adelaide is hot in summer. They did offer us another room for 2 nights for one of us to move into but the air conditioning was not working in that room too. They should have offered us a discount for the room.

Location 5min walking from city center and one of the cheapest private rooms I stayed in Australia. Very poor cleaning. Room right next to main road is noisy at night. Breakfast consists in bread for toasts, butter, cold milk and cereals. I think you get what you pay for.

Although the facilities were basic, everything was clean & I had a very comfortable night. The staff were very friendly & willing to make suggestions about places to grab a quick bite to eat. This is a good place to stay if you are travelling on a tight budget & want to get good value for money. I would have liked to have a bedside light so I could read in bed without having to get up to turn the overhead light off when I was ready to go to sleep!

Central Adelaide. Cheap. Large spacious room, comfortable bed for the price. Air conditioning. TV. Didn't realise "shared bathroom" meant unisex. This was a bit off-putting. No remote control for TV which was mounted high on wall. Kitchen was a bit basic, but adequate. Reception was very slow - no-one there a couple of times - eventually found someone in the kitchen.

Great Hostel close to Victoria Square and city center. Very well maintained. Very clean and safe with swipe card keys. Free wifi, free breakfast, free bikes, free BBQ on wednesdays, activities, lots of recent DVDs. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. It has 2 parts: the main part is the one for younger/party people with a bar, pool table and that's where the TV lounge and wifi are located. The Guest house is just across the street and has its own kitchen, laundry room and very quiet rooms for people who want to rest at night. The rooms are a good size and have lockers and the kitchen is well kept and has all the stuff necessary for cooking. There's free laundry powder and laundry is only $3 to wash and $3 to dry. There's also a terrace upstairs with tables and chairs and a laundry rack if you prefer to air dry your clothes. I booked for 6 days for &30/day and then decided to book another week and the price just went down to $26!!! Too cool! Really great place. the matresses and pillows could be a little better but I'm being picky.
