Friendly, helpful hosts. Made you feel very welcome. Cosy room appreciated returning to a warm room. Plenty of variety for continental breakfast. Would rebook. Thank you Julie and Jeff for your friendly hospitality.
Lugging my heavy suitcase up the steep steps after an overnight flight. Will pack less next time lol
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast good spread of all sorts and fresh. Location was great. If I have one gripe I didn't find my room very comfy chairs were small and horrid to sit on for long periods and my bed was quite hard to what I'm used too. The place was clean and warm I wouldn't say I would never stay there again but I would try different options first
The bed. Busy road.
Excellent customer service, good clean facilities and value for $s as described.
The owners and the breakfast food/experience. Lovely and relaxed.
Our room was a bit cramped.
Lovely building and facilities
Access with luggage will be difficult if bags are heavy or visitors are less mobile

Having to leave

The heritage building Location Breakfast
Character & history of property. Hosts fantastic and helpful. Proximity to restaurant area. Close to city centre.
We were there to go to an Afl game they decorated our room in our team coloured balloons and were so nice and friendly excellent service.
Liked staff, atmosphere, communal area and port, facilities up the road, easy walk into central Hobart.
Stayed there on a weekend so parking was OK but can see that it would be a problem during the week.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jeff and Julie were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Wonderful location, beautiful heritage building and rooms. We loved the communal lounge room with lovely treasures like magazines from the 1960's, board games and complimentary port! Breakfast was delicious, overall an excellent stay. We hope to be back soon!
We loved the staff. The couple that run it are absolutely lovely, and helped us with our requests for advice on restaurants and things to do on our last day in Hobart when we weren't too sure what to do. Breakfast was yum, lots of breads and crumpets, fruit, juices and condiments.
The beds were slightly uncomfortable, and we didnt have the best sleep the 3 nights we were there.
Lovely old building. Staff were amazing. Complimentary port and wine. Very cosy and comfortable. Within walking distance to cafes and cinema. Very clean. We will be staying here again for our next Hobart trip.
Minimal parking for guests.
Could walk into the city.
Within easy walking distance of many restaurants
No on site parking
Rooms were spacious and well furnished. Manager was helpful and friendly. Close to North Hobart's restaurant strip.
Not always easy to get a parking spot close but they do offer parking permits for the limited time parking zone in Warrick St.
Spa bath didn't work very well
Very friendly and welcoming with a tranquil garden area and warm, relaxing indoor environment.
With no off-street parking the car wasn't as secure and accessible as we would normally like.
The hosts are fabulous and have a most amicable demeanour!
Very obliging hosts and wonderful reception.
