The Manna of Hahndorf  

Great location in the middle of Hahndorf, clean and modern. Quiet room.

Very comfortable bed, good size rooms and quite good layout. Excellent location and nice setting.

Curtains do night block out the light and our room near the courtyard was very bright and noisy. We had no hot water during our one night stay and were offered no compensation for this.

I am very angry about the full amount for my booking being taken from my credit card account12 days before I arrived at the Manna. I would not have minded a deposit being deducted from the account. I have never had this happen before and it did not happen with the Hotel Richmond in Adelaide for the previous two days. They took nothing until we were leaving and then we paid separately. I would not book with Booking.com or the Manna again while this practice is occurring.

Liked the fact that it is central to Hahndorf, once you park the car you can leave it until you're ready to vacate. Liked the layout of the Manna.

Central location, plenty of eateries close by. Motel room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Free internet access available in your room.

I like the location of the Manna. Close to everything.

Location in the centre of Hahndorf. Good standard of facilities, all of which worked in the room.

B&b arrangement was not accurately presented. Bookings.com advertised the B&B as "breakfast included" - this was actually a $30 voucher which, for two people was not adequate. Manna staff claimed the deal was as advertised. This was not as advertised.

The rooms were really spacious.

The cleaning products had a really strong smell.

Location excellent. Plenty of attractions within easy walking distance.

Overpowering smell of bleach in the room. (Apparently to combat septic tank odour) No breakfast facility "on site". Some tie up with a cafe accross the street. Not made clear when booking, otherwise may have considered an alternative place to stay. (B&B). Cafe seemed hung up on the need to have a breakfast reservation ??? Received phone call a good week before the holiday asking if we would make a time for breakfast ??? We hadn't even clapped eyes on the place yet ... quite strange.

The bed was SO comfortable. And big- great king size. Comfy pillows too

No outlook except other rooms- yuk. Had to keep curtains closed Toilet flushing noise in room above

Large open plan modern room easy to add a child bed.

Tv remote wasn't working. Discount could be given for breakfast/dinner at sister restaurant.

Fantastic room large comfortable and soundproof value for money and helpful courteous staff I will definitely be staying here again when I'm back in Adelaide.

Our stay at Manna exceed expectations. It was good all away. Alison and Simon at reception very friendly and very professional, they upgraded us to studio apartment with no extra cost. Studio looked great, tastefully appointed, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was very nice as well. Excellent stay. Thank you.

Comfy room, very clean and modern. Friendly and helpful staff. Very central to town centre and country drives. Free wi fi that means just that, not a small download only.

Only negative would be that could hear television in the room next door if they had it on loud.

No opening windows so had to rely on air con.

I loved that it was a little German town! It was so beautiful and wished we were staying longer to enjoy more!

the location was excellent. The cleanliness very good. The Haus restaurant was excellent in all aspects. The motel looks very smart.

I did not like the location of the room,I think given the occupancy levels that a room with a more pleasant out look should have been offered.The booking site stated that it was the last of three rooms available but this was not the case. I read that the beds are king size,ours was a queen size and quite hard.The website mentions pillow top beds,not so! The rooms are nicely decorated,clean but quite small. On the second day of our stay the empty toiletries where not replenished.Disappointing.
