The location suited a person traveling alone, being walking distance to the main shopping area and with a selection of cafes close by to eat in. The room was functional with a reasonable sized fridge to keep fruit etc in. Being on the first floor near the stairs there was considerable noise from the bar area at night. The restaurant was extremely expensive for breakfast with no facility for people who want something simple. The manager telling off a staff member in hearing range of people in the reception area was quite appalling! |

The only thing I liked was the fact it was close to my family, - I most certainly will not stay there again. Sorry about that. I was most disappointed with the size of the bathroom, the floor of the shower was mouldy, to enter the bathroom the door hit the toilet seat, and I couldnt find the towels, as they were hidden on a high rack , so when one walked into the bathroom with door open you could not see them. |

Breakfast was good, so was the bed. We came to Canberra for a wedding, starting at 4pm, Book in time was 2pm, that was ok. we arrived at 12.30. but a room was not ready, that was not a problem, we returned at 2pm, a room was not ready, we waited and waited a room was not ready until after 3.15 pm. We were late for the wedding, My sister stayed in the same looking room, to be offered another room wouldve been good, the room we had, had torn curtains. Wouldnt have called it a Deluxe room. I would reccomend it, telling people not to expect too much. |

The bed was comfortable, with clean sheets and good pillows and the gentleman who brought breakfast up in the mornings was very polite. The room was very out-dated. The lights did not work properly. The toilet did not flush properly. The spa was very noisy (I think something was broken). The table had a broken leg and I cut my foot on the bottom of it. The mirror over the spa was broken. The lady at the front counter when we arrived had very poor english skills and I couldn't understand her. The man at the front counter when I was leaving was rude and nearly overcharged me. Overall, very dissapointing, poorly maintained facilities. |

Not much. Although the room was neat and relatively clean, the buiding was old, and maintenance especially outside and around the pool was in immediate need of attention. The staff were deplorable so we left after just one night. No help with luggage, ignored when we arrived. |

Leaving it cold staff, filthy mess under beds, squeaky front door, leaking sink tap, the charge I've received for mini bar drink I didn't have, etc etc Wonder if it's payback for pointing out inadequacies. |

The staff member at check in was abrupt (rude) The TV did not work properly (black picture - just like a radio) only slight improvement upon maintenance fixing it. The tap in the shower ran constantly (asked to be fixed - only a slight improvement). The daily house keeping was incomplete - be not made - coffe mug not washed - TV left on. Mold in the bathroom shower and the vanity was damaged and as a result the vanity tap leaked. I was extremely unhappy with the accommodation and the attitude of the staff. I only stayed there as I booked accommodation at the last minute - I will never stay there again. |

the cleanliness of the hotwl rooms were very nice and particuarly loved the spa and king size bed. the only thig would be how small the bathroom was, there wasn't very much room to move around and the style seemed outdated for the rest of the room. |

our loft room was lovely we ordered room service after waiting 1 hour i called to see what was wrong ,took another 25 mins for a sandwich and a pizza. however, when it did arrive it was delicious. we had a full breakfast next morning, the food was all lukewarm, we had to ask for plates, bread , butter, milk. all were empty. we were nt impressed with breakfast at all. |

The staff were wonderful. We had many problems but the staff tried their best to assist. Unfortunately the hotel is tired and run down. It was a big disappointment. Perhaps the star rating is too high. |

The basic comfort and the location to the City. There were obvious areas which showed the age, chips of the internal masonary, newer fittings in older surrounds, car park surface etc. Just dated the Hotel. |

Extremely friendly staff and good facilities: restaurant, bar, internet, parking. Our room was noise-proof even facing Northbourne Avenue. Hair dryer was available. Toilet facilities were worn out. No exhaust installed in bathroom. Wall paintings along the hall way incomplete. |

balcony was nice, breakfast downstairs and room service were both delicious. Staff very helpful. there was a wedding on and it was noisy. Had to turn in the tv. The was no air flow in the rooms and they became very stuufy, and I had to open the balcony door, which made the room cold. |

The restaraunt for evening meal had little selections. Those items on it were too expensive.I had booked the $15 breakfast on book in and my name and reservation were not at the restaraunt the next morning.Pissed off I left, got my bags and checked out. |

Large spacious room. Was comfortable. Staff fairly friendly. Large shower. 10 mins walk from city centre shops. Dated decor, especially in terms of bathroom utilities. It was also difficult to get the shower water to the correct temporature. |

The rooms had been tastefully redecorated. comfortable bed. good lighting. not too big. kept old features eg staircase. quiet. access to fresh air on the balcony. Rooms not too hot... could adjust heating. excellent that!! quick room service. pleasant breakfast staff member (older lady) who ensured I had a cup of latte each morning! In room movies for free. Cold restaurant. No fresh fruit on weekends for breakfast. Need to clean inside and under shower sliding window. My room door was left ajar after cleaning - had lots of valuables (camera, computer) in room! Mini bar expensive - $6 for three chocolates, and $6 for water! One reception staff member rather curt when I required explanation of charging re credit card... but thank you! I really DID ENJOY MY STAY! I would come again |
