Score from 75 reviews Wonderful
Front of house staff excellent and helpful. Complementary breakfast a bonus. Tram into city very easy. Pleasant enough hotel if you need/wish to be in that area.
Housekeeping very poor. Glass found on bathroom floor, cups and saucer's washed in bathroom and not cleaned properly. Towels left by us for reuse were always replaced going against the hotels water conservation policy. Decore depressing, dark and in need of a refresh. Be prepared for the noise from local bar - likely the hotel bar.
being able to use the Deck pool each morning; the ease of tram transport into CBD & beyond; the helpful front desk staff; breakfasts are amazing, especially considering the $10 deal at check -in; Aurora spa on site
maybe a little noisey
noisy , wooden floors with high heel shoes
Location was great. Close to restaurants/bars and tran. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
The shower was terrible. Bad pressure and would switch from cold to hot. Last day we were there we had no hot water at all.
Close to everything; transport, cafes, beach, city feel, restaurants, bars - good for business travellers, solo, families etc. Staff are always happy to help and service is good.
Internet in my room was quite slow.
The staff were friendly & very eager to help. The room was basic but provided a quiet, clean & comfortable environment. This will definitely be my 1st choice for accommodation the next time I visit Melbourne.
That I couldn't extend my stay.
Nothing worth mentioning
I was on business, but my husband was a tourist, and it met all our expectations. Great location, 5 miners walk to the tourist area. 2 minutes walk to the seafront and marina. The best breakfast I have ever had!!!!!! Setvice was outstanding, friendly and helpful staff. Without a question I'll return to stay there.
Having tea/coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. Also bed was comfortable with thick, fluffy bath towels. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Parking for cars
The layout of the room is totally impractical. No shelves, minimal hanging space, safe on floor of cupboard, no towel rails. Also there is a bar nearby and it was very noisy at night. We were there for a Fri and Sat night. Also there is no concierge so don't rely on being able to book excursions, etc at the hotel.
Location and the general ambience of the hotel. Also liked the breakfast a la carte (but would been much better with various complimentary accompanients such as toast & jams, tea/coffee (which dont cost much).
Facilities and location. Lovely staff
Breakfast menu was not great and it would feed a toddler not an adult. For the extra $$$ paid I would expect more or at least a buffet
the hotel was a fabulous referral from a friend and it lived up to his recommendation. The staff were friendly and there when you needed them, the rooms were light and spacious, clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious! A relaxing stay and great location.
location price weather
hard bed no were to put kettle we think
Great breakfast and coffee; excellent restaurants and bar; modern facilities; superb St. Kilda location.
When I book my room online , I request if I would prefer a bath facility than shower, if possible . And the hotel did offer me my request which I'm v happy with .
Always enjoy my stay at prince, staff are friendly and circa food never fails to please.
Excellent location. good breakfast. Well-mannered staff.
Shabby furniture, scuffed walls, stained carpets, filthy smelly floor in the elevator. Overpriced, tiny restaurant meal, with inedible vegetables. Aircon fan outlet right above my head in bed causing dehydration. Inability to adjust temperature. No effective makeup mirror. Poor lighting. Table and chair in the room too low to work comfortably. Very overpriced for what it is.
Breakfast menu was fabulous and offered well thought out modern twists
The lack of light in passageways & bedrooms Unable to read as lighting very poor Color of decor in passageways is very uninspiring. Chocolate carpet and charcoal walls & poor lighting.......drab
The staff were helpful beyond the call of duty. I booked my room at one minute past midnight, they corrected my mistake and made me feel welcome.
I didn't like leaving. I wanted to stay longer.
Right in the heart of buzzing St Kilda
Excellent staff. Excellent breakfast.
Needed hanging rails in bathroom
The bar area and restaurant are superb with excellent staff but the hotel room was shabby and tired. We were booked for 2 nights but stayed only 1 as we were so disappointed in the accommodation.
Great room layout and friendly staff
remote not working
It was a little bit different and interesting
it felt a little foreign, not like a regular hotel experience. But if you're expecting this then it's great.
