excellent facilities golf course outlook very relaxing. Food was excellent and the staff were very attentive, efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much
Very comfortable Bed. Best shower cap ever - it fit my head with hair rollers.
The Towels have seen better days. Thin bath mat. Pillows (too big). Not enough regular tea bags or milk in fridge for a one night stay.
Great size room and bathroom. Fantastic gym, and not too noisy as we were on the second floor.
Didn't like the condition of the bed linen, holes in bed cover, dirty marks on the doona. Walls could do with reprainting, very marked.
Everything was terrific
Beautiful views over the golf course. Great for a romantic weekend away very peaceful and relaxing.
Distance from the main part of Torquay was a little further than I would have liked.
That you are so close to the beach
Even though located in a suburban area the setting is lovely with views to the dunes. Accommodated extra person at short notice..at cost.
Having stayed here 5 years ago I was really disappointed by my second visit. Breakfast nowhere as enjoyable 5 years ago when at least a pod machine was available..no longer. Food was very average, dried out and spread out over a ridiculous area. Felt like were intruders at a conference as most guests seemed to know each other and were too busy sounding sel important at top volume. Furniture aged..first view as you approach hotel entry is of 2 faded leather couches with stains running down them. Bed really uncomfortable..2 singles put together and called a King!
Very clean Great views and surrounds - made it easy to de-stress - perfect for couples wanting a romantic holiday Close to the beach Sound-proof walls (which puts your mind at ease when travelling with an 18 month old who doesn't understand they cant make too much noise)
The swimming pool was for use only by people 18yrs+. Whilst they do note this on their website we had missed this small print so were disappointed we couldn't use the pool with our toddler.
No alcohol or very little food on offer for room service.
Comfortable bed Very quiet
The room I was in was starting to look a little worn. E.g. Marks on walls, bathroom door was peeling. Also the restaurant food is a tad pricey for the quality.
Pillows were too hard
The location of the hotel/resort is very good. Away from the main parts of Torquay but close enough to drive to. But you also don't really need to leave if you don't want to.
The beds where very small (2 x single beds in our room) and pillows where horrible (really regretted that I didn't take my own). Disappointed that the gym didn't open until 8.00pm (who goes to the gym @ 8.00 and you have to be out of your room at 10.00am) and closed @ 5.45pm. Paid for breakfast which was $28, but was given the heads up if we booked the night before it was only going to be $18 (big +). Asked for an omelette and was told NO, so had to eat some poor excuse for scrambled eggs Grrr!…...
It was in torquay
Waste of money.. was advertised with a view...mount of sand Large double bed is what I paid for and got 2 single beds put together internet was extremely slow got given false directions when initially arriving so it was an "adventure" to initially find our room.. room smelt disgusting when arriving the fridge was the smallest bar fridge in the world and it froze everything we put in there.
Fairly clean and new-ish. Short drive from cafés on The Esplanade.
Ground floor room with view of the carpark wasn't exactly what we were expecting! When we arrived they couldn't find our booking. Pillows on bed were horribly uncomfortable, had to go and see an osteopath when we got home as I couldn't move my neck! Breakfast not included, and no room service breakfast option.
way over rated, no pool unless your over 18. Cleaning very poor and décor in poor condition
Rooms well appointed, clean, everything we needed.
No outside pool to sit beside. Heaps of guests went to the Wyndham which we did to site In the sun. Nowhere to do this at Peppers, we certainly wouldn't pay $30 per person per day for indoor pool and gym. No furn on her deck to sit outside and watch the golfers rabbits or birds.
Restaurant meals average doors noisy coming in and out of corridors
As I have stated early, the couple who were to stay at the resort were unable to go as one partner had to undergo an emergency operation on the day of arrival. We got in touch with Peppers to see if they could change the date for the young couple or let someone else stay that night, but Peppers were not helpful at all and they made sure they still got their money. I will never book with either of you again
Pizza and cost of room service .
The golf course was great and the staff were excellent
The rooms weren't as nice as expected and the food was horrible, I asked for a medium well steak and it was almost blue
Best shower ever!
Loved the location so close to the golf course, and it was very quiet.
