Staff and room
No free wifi and need a DVDs player in the room
Pleasant staff, good breakfast & nice spacious rooms.
The tv could be larger, especially when you are staying for the tennis.
We were 3 people and the room was fair enough to fit an extra bed for the 3rd person. Very good localization, a walk to queen victoria market, open mall and restaurants.
- i asked in advance for the 3 rd bed but only a couple hours after my checkin they fixed the bed. - parking very expansive
The location is great. Central to everything. The tram stop Is just outside.
Only thing was had to get swipe card reset every time to get into our room nothing major but was a pain after a long day
Free Wifi access to the room should be mandetary

Not enough staff at reception. Breakfast not that great Room not that clean
Location and spacious room
Nothing to speak of....
Location was excellent. Service in terms of cleaning room was excellent as well.
Bed was a bit too small. We had a queen size bed and we would have preferred a king size bed
Front reception and concierge were very helpful and friendly
Room and Bathroom were in dire need of renovation!
The location was convenient because it was near the shopping malls and restaurants. The rooms were clean but the air-con was not working very well. We didn't seem to have much control over the air-con temperature.
If you are driving, I will not recommend this hotel. First of all cars are not allowed on the road in front of the hotel, so you have to drive to a small back lane to off load your luggages. And the hotel charges an exorbitant A$35 per night for valet parking, when my car rental charges only cost me A$32 per day. You have the option to drop off your bags at the hotel's backlane and drive to a multi-storey carpark which is located a few streets away and pay $15 per entry. The hotel should just get their staff to park our cars for their guest and charge us $15 instead of the exorbitant $35 as a service to their guest. From the back lane, you have to carry your heavy baggages down a small flight of steps to go to the reception. When the bags are very heavy, it can be quite a tough job to carry our bags down the flight of staircase. They should construct a ramp for this purpose. We were staying on the 9th floor, but the view from the window was horrible. You have to pay $15 a night for use of wi-fi. If you want to use free wifi at the lobby, you have to get a password from the reception which lasts for 2 hours. After every 2 hours you have to go to the reception again to get a new password for the free wifi. Checkout time is 11.00am. I was told by the reception that $20 per hour will be charged if we fail to checkout by 11.00am.
Helpful and friendly staff
My room was below the gym, all I could hear from 0630 was thump thump thump, as someboby was on the running machine.
Proximity to State library
Had to drag bags a fair way from taxi
