I got upgraded to a spa room, but it was pretty much the same as the last time I was there, except with another room, more space in the kitchen and a spa in the bathroom. Room was clean, cool and nice, although maybe a little old in the decor. The hotel is 4 mins walk from Woolworths, handy because of the apartment's kitchen, and 8 mins walk from the main shopping strip (try Pizza Cantina, the best pizza in Kal). I didn't use the restaurant only because I have friends in Kal who I have dinner with, and I self cater for breakfast & lunch. The hotel was very quiet because of the sudden down turn in the mining industry. The spa room was at a quiet end of the hotel, so I had a peaceful & relaxed time I was there- in fact it was most probably the nicest break I have had at a hotel for 10 years( I travel for work, so it wasn't a holiday). I will be booking my next trip back to Kal at this hotel. Ok, I am getting petty now as there was not much else to complain about. The bathroom could have been mopped a liittle better. I asked for the flickering light in the bathroom to be fixed but it didn't happen. I did not ask again as the bathroom had good natural lighting so I only put the light on when brushing my teeth at night. I told you I had to get petty to find faults!

The room is a good size, well maintained and cleaned regularly. The reception staff were efficient and well mannered and the rooms were reasonably quiet at all times. The restaurant attached to the facility has good service at night but the morning staff were inexperienced and too busy talking to serve. i witnessed people leaving their tables because the morning service was too slow. very poor in the morning breakfast area.

Great coffee at The Blue Monkey restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice to have the kitchenette to reheat food, especially as the serving sizes are so big they can do 2 meals.

Central location. Reasonably priced. I have stayed at the View for two years with my previous employment every eight weeks and could do the same now with my new employment. Perhaps the room service needs to be improved a little. No coffee replacement the next day. Silly I know but annoying. Vacuuming between guest changes. Found Double Gees on the floor. Nasty in bare feet.

Clean, friendly and location Should have a common room which is big enough for surfing the Internet by many users as only 2 seater available in reception.

It was clean, and easy walk to centre of town. I arrived on Friday afternoon, over the week-end there was no service I.E. they do not do clean on week-ends -strange as this would be when it would be required ( room cleaned, towels, refill of milk etc.) I had to go to reception to enquiry nothing in the room to advise on this. No wi fi - If you have a phone wi fi or tab you cannot use had to go to Dome Cafe. Whilst the room was comfortable the ambience exterior hotel lacking all brick and brick and brick. Nothing to soften the harsh brick look. Quest Yelverton caught my eye as being inviting green and welcoming with trees and large pots. Not much in the way of information on sight seeing .

Very convenient location in Kalgoorlie. Rooms are very clean. Adaquate parking. The opening times for breakfast really suite the early morning starts. I was on an end room and there at times was loud noise from the street. Could be better sound proofing to remove this.
