dorm rooms do not have enough space for opening luggages.
Location was great, staff very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was super. Our room was very quiet at night.
Location rate friendly staff
Shower hard to set
The beer garden out the back is a great place to relax and meet others. There is a secure facility to store gear if you arrive early. Staff are relaxed and friendly.
No kitchen to cook own food in, no laundry to wash clothes in, ridiculous fridge area to store perishable foods in. Wifi reception is rubbish you have to go out into the beer garden to get any and this is pot luck. Especially for the price you pay. Also make sure you get a copy of receipt for payment of stay as they have no real clear system for check ins and traceability of payment.
Clean, good breakfast included, short taxi fare to docks
Needs a refurb really. Bathroom sink leaking for some time by the look of it. Fridge wasn't working properly. Towels thin, shabby and some ragged.
-off-street and on-street parking.
- distance from the port area. - room needed re-vamp. - could not get laptop to work on Wifi, although mobile phone connected to wifi. - needed to carry case up stairs.
Close proximity to city centre
1. Untidy & grubby conditions in both single rooms. One room contained no amenities,T.V. fridge, cupboard space..nothing but 1 bed!! The other room would not pass H&S standards because of multiple electrical cables unsafely secured i.e lying across the floor. 2.So called tea room was messy with dirty sink & coffee tea containers grubby. Tea towel unusable. 3. Staff difficult to locate & once located would not consider change of room or reduction for room with no amenities. 4. Unreasonable price of $90 per room of this standard. '
Staff were brilliant, they weren't out of their to way to ensure our needs were met. Meals were of a high quality.
Felt that the rooms needed some form of cooling eg fans.
Just above the bar, noisy Little bit too far from the city, but nice walk Small rooms, not space
Value for money, breakfast was provided.
Location was too far from centre. More than a 10 Minute walk. Linen on bed was very thin.
An overnight kayak trip was cancelled at the last minute and we needed a place to stay the day we were looking! This room was the only reasonably priced room available and it was perfect for our needs! Excellent parking facilities.
It was a little way from the waterfront, but we had a car so we were able to drive there....a bit hard to find a parking spot on a busy day of the year though...
Hot water for shower is unacceptable, pathetic low.
Location close to the CBD in a quiet area of the city. Staff very accommodating regarding my early arrival. Ample variety of breakfast items available.
Over priced by 50 percent, no lift, damaged plaster on walls, broken light shade in bathroom, mold around shower scene, no tongs to extract bread from bread bag very unhygienic.
Price was okay. It was summer season so twice price of winter.
Struggled with the noisy party downstairs Saturday night but stopped right on midnight thankfully
Close proximity to my desired location, friendly staff
Questionable marks on the wall next to the toilet. Bobby pin on bathroom floor (not mine), holes in the bed linen, fridge unplugged, dirty black marks on wall above bed, bed backed onto next rooms bathroom (I could hear everything), toilet smelt. For $140 I expected it to at least have been vacuumed and cleaned prior to my arrival.
very quiet not your typical pub atmosphere meals lovely centrally located
meals could be pricey insufficient parking particually when trivia night is on
I came here very soon in the morning and the staff was very nice to allow me leave some bags in the hotel until I came back to check-in The room is very clean and quite... I had a very good sleep here The hotel is also very close to Salamanca Square, Restaurants and the beach...
The wireless is too poor :(
First contact with staff was great, they were friendly and helpful. Room had a slight electric problem and I was immediately moved to another room. Had a sufficient breakfast each day. Dinners eaten in the restaurant were great value for money.
Staff were fantastic and helpful.
Noisy at night as this is a pub and has a 24 hour off-licence attached. It didn't quieten down until after midnight.
big rooms and breakie
over all it ok.
we reached early in the morning and we had to wait outside untill 12pm in the rain to just get inside the hotel. there morning breakfast is not that good.
Asking for a double adaptor to use in my room was no problem. Easy walk to town and back, and an inexpensive taxi fare late at night.
It'a an extremely small thing, but I would have like a multi grained bread for toast.
Great value for money.
There must have been a smoker in my room prior which spoilt it. Had to air the room out frequently and the smell stayed with my clothes even when I got home.
great location , can walk to the market and the city, nice staff
the room is kinda old and expensive compare to other
