Staff were fantastic and helpful.
Noisy at night as this is a pub and has a 24 hour off-licence attached. It didn't quieten down until after midnight.
big rooms and breakie
over all it ok.
we reached early in the morning and we had to wait outside untill 12pm in the rain to just get inside the hotel. there morning breakfast is not that good.
Asking for a double adaptor to use in my room was no problem. Easy walk to town and back, and an inexpensive taxi fare late at night.
It'a an extremely small thing, but I would have like a multi grained bread for toast.
Great value for money.
There must have been a smoker in my room prior which spoilt it. Had to air the room out frequently and the smell stayed with my clothes even when I got home.
great location , can walk to the market and the city, nice staff
the room is kinda old and expensive compare to other
Staff was helpful. Reception waited for me a few minutes after it was scheduled to close. Without asking, I was upgraded to a better room than booked.
It's no big deal, especially since it's so common in the region of this hotel, but the hours of Reception are more limited than I care for.
close to the city, free parking, very friendly staff and good restaurant food.
infrastructure is horrible. no lifts. Rooms are older than Noah's Ark. The hotel badly needs a Re-furbishment.
Friendly staff, good location
Great vibe, the guy from the bottle shop gave me a rad Corona beer ice bucket when I was buying some booze. Great free off street parking, duty manager on the day we checked out was really helpful and a total legend!!! We love you guys and will stay there again :-)
There wasn't a band playing the night we stayed there. But that's small potatoes really,I bet you did that deliberately just to leave me some thing to pick on lol.
Easy access to the highway north was convenient. Staff at breakfast were conscientious. Tea making facilities near our hotel room were welcome.
The hotel has a policy whereby your credit card and driver's licence are photocopied. I had difficulty finding out when these photocopied documents would be destroyed. Parking is at the rear of the hotel adjacent to the 24/7 bottle shop.
The beds/rooms were uncomfortable it was so loud from other people in the building
The location and proximity to all amenities.
The exhaust in the toilet didn't work and our room had its window to Murray street and the traffic noise was quite annoying at night.
Not a lot of options for GF meals even snacks. Ordered a special salad and was so disappointed considering the price. Portion was way too small, lacked flavour and value. Did not eat there again during my stay.
Taped music was played far too late and far to early. Didn't get good sleep because of it.
Close to hospital !!!! Breakfast included
No kettle in rooms or plugs to have wash in sink !!!!
Very dated, beds too firm, family room had 4 single beds.staff took a photo copy of my credit card this is a breach of privacy!
Staff were friendly. Quite noisy...could hear taps being turned on in another room. Could hear people talking in corridors whilst we were in our rooms, not sound proof.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included! Room was comfortable and serviced everyday. Within walking distance of the CBD. GREAT value for money.
Shower was really tricky to get the temperature right.
Staff Ability to get lunch and dinner Comfy bed
Not terribly clean Dreradful shower
They had parties at the reataurant . It was very noisy late at night.
Breakfast provided. The location is within walking distance to Royal Hobart Hospital, good.
Shower water very weak, dribbling only, I could not have a shower. The room is very old and simple, like 60's 2 star motel.
The staff were friendly and very kind. We are all under 19 we really enjoyed our stay. The only downer was we had to come up with $200 bond...because of our age. This is perfectly understandable, we know some young people don't do the right thing. We got our bond back but suggest that you put on the site that if under a certain age a bond is required. Lucky we had the extra cash!
A good friendly pub. Bar meals substantial plus a nice cold beer.
Stayed on a saturday night and there was a band playing witch could be heard in every room.
