Not value for money at all. They should not charge any more than $100 per night as this hotel is very dated and in dire need of a total external and internal refurbishment, though the bathrooms have been renovated and were clean. They even had the audacity to charge $15 for parking onto of a hefty room rate. You can get much better value for money right in the city. Will never stay here again.

I was very happy with the service of the staff. Every staff member I encountered either over the phone or face to face was attentive to every question or request I had. The staff were honest and polite, and in regards to my leaving a personal possession behind (I wish I could remember the staff members name) she called me as soon as they housekeepers found my necklace and she told me that if I was happy with her posting it to me she would organise it right away. Loved her for it! :) Beds were quite comfortable as well. I opted for the room to be smoking, I thought there would be an ashtray in the room but I couldn't find one.

There was a bad odor emanating from the hand basin which permeated throughout the whole room. The bathroom/ shower was not properly cleaned after the last guests. There was little space for parking.

It is a clean and tidy place to stay (although a little tired these days) without paying ridiculous city prices. Nothing to complain about. I realise at that price it wasn't going to be the Hilton.

I requested to be on the 1st floor for health reasons and was put on the 3rd floor which meant I had alot of difficulty getting up the stairs. When I asked about it I was told they had not got my request and the fellow was not very pleasant about it.

Great location for us as it's within 10 minutes on public transport to the Powerhouse museum, exhibition center, Chinatown and Darling Harbour. We were 3rd floor, no elevator. Not easy with luggage and small children. It's an older building and it shows. Many smaller safety issues, jagged broken tiles around the pool, etc Keep an eye out if you have small children!!! Good if you are on a budget, if you are looking for attractive accommodation or many amneties...steer clear of this one.

Close to rpa Allergy Unit by bus. Iron & Ironing board, hairdryer standard for rooms. Great water pressure, comfortable beds. Undercover parking (tight) affordable optional extra. Short bus trip to city. Management took the time to call me re an issue with the room. . Parking tight for medium to large cars. Management not aware of multiple faults in room of first night stay (Air con, tv, fire alarm not working, No lock or screen on window). Remedied with new room second night, would give much higher rating if we had this room both nights. Some may find the stairs a problem to the third floor.

The staff were very helpful with having the room early and allowing us to leave our car the following day. The air conditioner didn't work and there was a fan provided but would have liked to have known prior

We love coming to the haven inn and have not stopped recommending it to families with children who love the city. Glebe is marvellous and the staff at the hotel are very freindly and accomodating. The lovely outdoor pool is definately a draw card - the kids love it!

Location is fairly good, close to city center This is a terrible hotel, by far the worst I have ever been in my life: rooms are dirty, furnitures broken, walls broken, floors humid and wet; corridors look like the one in a condo of a building from the 50s that has never been renovated. I would not pay more than $30 per night to stay in such places. Last of the problem was that the hotel does not offer any breakfast service, despite what they say in the hotel description. How can they describe the room that I stayed as "superior" ???

The price for the location of the hotel was good value. Room in general was clean. The shower wasn't very clean and it was very noisy. Not sure if that was just because of the guests staying that night or if it is always like this.

Convenience to the City. Quaint inner city location with plenty of cafes. Easy transport on main road to Sydney cbd. Nice ambiance. Lovely clean pool. I liked everything about the hotel however a person who could not climb stairs could find it a little difficult.
