The Haven Inn Sydney  

Not value for money at all. They should not charge any more than $100 per night as this hotel is very dated and in dire need of a total external and internal refurbishment, though the bathrooms have been renovated and were clean. They even had the audacity to charge $15 for parking onto of a hefty room rate. You can get much better value for money right in the city. Will never stay here again.

Location is fairly good, close to city center

This is a terrible hotel, by far the worst I have ever been in my life: rooms are dirty, furnitures broken, walls broken, floors humid and wet; corridors look like the one in a condo of a building from the 50s that has never been renovated. I would not pay more than $30 per night to stay in such places. Last of the problem was that the hotel does not offer any breakfast service, despite what they say in the hotel description. How can they describe the room that I stayed as "superior" ???

The day we arrived the computer syustem had broken down and no keys were available. A staff member had to escort us to our room every time we returned to letus in. Staff were apparently fed up and complained to us about the inconvenience to them (not us).

It's location was quite convenient for the things I needed to do.

Someone had clearly broken into the room I was staying in, and the door lock to the balcony had a very poor repair job - it would have taken seconds for someone else to break in. During check-in, the clerks were on the phone to their friends, and I was just an annoyance to their fun. Other guests were loud-mouthed and foul language could be heard most of the night. Would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The staff were very helpful with having the room early and allowing us to leave our car the following day.

The air conditioner didn't work and there was a fan provided but would have liked to have known prior

I actually do not like

Staff not friendly, had to pay parking, no room service and major I booked for 4 people but just got 3 beds and later asked for one bed.

I like many things. Pool was excellent and mostly quiet.

They didn`t have breakfast.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Location convenient to public transit and the University of Sydney.

We didn't realize that there wasn't a lift. Staff are happy to help carry things up/down, but it's still a bit tricky with a young family.

Close to city

Dirty room no towles wood tiles missing on floor toilet seat broken room was not cleaned the second day or coffee or milk or soap replenished again no towles ihave photos as proof smoke alarm was missing

The friendliness of the staff was exceptional.For the price the rooms were pretty good for Sydney.

The price for the location of the hotel was good value. Room in general was clean.

The shower wasn't very clean and it was very noisy. Not sure if that was just because of the guests staying that night or if it is always like this.
