Great comfortable bed, quiet rooms, good location Eco stickers in room encouraged guests to use less electricity and water, although both basins in the bathroom had a constant flow of water coming out, we couldn't turn them off. We were unable to access the advertised in room movies and cable channels, when we asked reception for help we were told "the hotel doesn't have these facilities in rooms" . Reception staff hard to understand due to foreign accent and very fast speech

Nice big clean spacious room. Aircon worked fantastic and although the pub downstairs got noisy into the night, it did not strain us at all. Will definitely stay at the hotel again Reception needed more customer service as that was the only downfall .. We nearly cancelled our stay there..

Rooms were good though not as pictured on booking site. Main bed was comfy, single supplied was fold-out and sagged in the middle. Room amenities were great and clean, well maintained. Overall 4.5. Food was great and room service, excellent. Only complaint was the ease with which the access/door keycards became demagnetised and no parking onsite.

Free complimentary late checkout Booked a queenside bed, got given two singles pushed together that kept falling apart so partner and I retty much slept on one single bed. Room looks nothing like it was online, was shabby and a bit dodge. There was no tolietries like shampoo or conditioner or tooth paste, the television was old and so static that it was unbearable to watch.

I didn't like waiting 45 mins for 2 poached eggs (each) to be cooked when my colleague and I were 2 of only three in the restaurant that morning. I didn't like being told I would have to park 1/2 km away in a general car park at 10 o'clock at night after a very long flight. I travel alone, am 56 years old and female. Only after complaining did I get a parking spot on site. I first room they put me in was totally unacceptable. When I said I would leave, they found me a lovely room. It is a shame that complaints had to be made before I was dealt with properly. I would recommend Somerset with conditions.

This Gulag is tired, very basic, badly run and very expensive. The hotel has nothing good about it except the location for business. It is a rip-off!

Good clean room with comfy bed. It was comforting to know 24hr reception. I liked that Somerset were not wasting power and time on washing towels everyday. I did not like the fact that I could not afford to stay longer

- The service I was provided with by Evelin and Paul at the front desk. - The prompt service by Eric who fixed a dripping tap and adjusted the TV to get a better signal. - the friendly, smiling service by the staff in the restaurant / bar - the comfortable bed and pillows - the tasty room-service breakfast and the excellent food in the restaurant. Much appreciated... Thank you - The older-style analogue televisions will always struggle to diplay modern digital television programming. I reckon that the costs of maintaining the old TVs probably exceeds the costs for replacing the TV's with new ones.

Location meals menu looked good but didn't need to try it friendly staff Lack of parking - problem solved by parking in Wilson carpark across / down the road for $24 for the night - safe & secure Television - for the cost of TVs these days they could have done better - it was old, small and had a poor reception. Doesn't need to be big, but a flat screen, mounted on the wall would be an improvement No biscuits provided with coffee. That would have been appreciated late at night Bathroom really small - poor lighting & took a long time to work out shampoo & soap dispenser. Need instructions for them. Had some of our own thankfully Was there an wi-fi???

I dint believe their payment policies are clear on booking and would question whether legally binding, the Booking.com confirmation states a total cost and states this will be prepaid on the credit card provided, on checking out it hasnt been prepaid and further more they are for additional money not on the confrimation for credit card commission, as an international traveller it is difficult to arrange an other form of payment at this last minute to avoid paying the additional charge
