Service & staff were great, food excellent. Our room position 223 was far too noisy to obtain much sleep. Would only stay again if on back room.

I found the reception staff very friendly and professional. This is a small boutique hotel and it feels almost homely. The restaurant served wonderful food and I liked the electic mix of colour and art on the walls of the hotel. Great being in St Kilda It would be great to have the bathrooms renovated/improved. Just a little bigger would be great. I felt claustrophobic in mine. And they are looking tired and sad around the edges.

Absolutely loved this hotel, perfect location in the heart of St Kilda but so lovely and quiet to get a good nights sleep. The rooms were new, new carpets everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredible. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone looking for a comfy home away from home.

Everything was great. From the friendly helpful staff to the short walk to st kildas cafes, markets and trams. Such a bright and colourful hotel, with each hallway full of amazing artworks. Very comfortable bed. We had a quiet room located at the back. Huge tv and working aircon and fan. The free parking is located a couple of blocks away, not an issue if you like a nice short walk.

It is a very stylish and affordable place to stay with original art in all the rooms and along corridors. Reception staff is friendly, helpful and prepared to go out of their way to help you with any problem you may have while staying there.

We liked the location, the art work and the bed. They were doing renovations right outside our door during our stay. Someone was literally sanding the door jam while we were trying to sleep. And the renovations made the hotel look cheap. Also, the air-con was broken when the temp reached the high 30s during our stay.

The atmosphere was great. Location great if you're looking for a "near the beach" hotel. So close to the trams! I really liked that the wifi was actually FREE. Parking was mildly inconvenient. Wifi strength and speeds were very poor. Almost unusable at many points. No elevator/lift makes it hard to get luggage up and downstairs easily. Handicap/disabled friendly?

Close to everything we wanted, food, attractions etc The room being in the basement/street level the noise was terrible waking us many times in the night - the noise was right outside our window which was just above our heads. Plus the room really needs re painting - splash marks ont he wall going into the bathroom , paint looking shabby let down the look and feel.
