Score from 24 reviews Good
Sensational view, food at the Irish bar was exceptional and the service from the check in staff was professional and helpful
The views are amazing, on a clear day you can see all the way to the city from your room. The rooms are huge and we found them quite clean although the beds are a little hard. I wouldn't pay $150 a night again for this place, but I would pay around $120 for it. It's not within walking distance to town, but is an easy drive of a few minutes and very close to the famous King Ludwig's restaurant.
There was no hot water in our room at all. The outdoor passageway from the rooms to the restaurant and reception is not signed at all and is a rabbit warren which leaves you lost and needing to ask directions to get to the reception. There seems to be not many staff on duty here, one person was doing the breakfast as well as the reception.
Friendly receptionist, spa bath in room, air cond worked well.
We could hear the people above us all night and they awoke early too..We could hear then walking above us and having a shower or flushing toilet .Woke us all up at 5.30am with all the noise and we didnt sleep till 1am. Breakfast wasnt worth the price.
The location, the peace and quite, The Bed was great. The staff were efficient and pleasant, It was all we needed for one night
No Center table in the main room, The fridge was old and tired but it worked, The hot water took a long time to arrive wasting a lot of water.
staff were friendly and the view was beautiful
parking was not close to the room
Rooms were spacious and clean, with everything you need, beds were comfortable. Beautiful view.
Location and view
The location is beautiful
Thousands of dead bugs in the bathroom when we got there. Staff member in the dining room speaking very unprofessionally - not rude, just not professional eg. speaking loudly across the room to guests as they walk in explaining what their package entitled them to eat, asking guests at one table if they knew whether people at another table (that they didn't know) had finished, complaining about how long it had taken her to get a live webcam sorted out, etc.
We were a little niosey there for a bit but there were no complaints
It was excellent were it is the view from the rooms was great . The staff was excallant . And the location was good .
Can on fault the place .
Beautiful location. Breakfast and restaurant dinner were great value for money as well as very well presented and tasty.
We were with quite a group of friends so this is a group opinion - no one had a clock that worked, dry rot in all woodwork on balconies, smoke alarm that wasn't functional, cockroach poo on pillow on spare bed, curtains that were totally worn out, light bulbs that needed replacing, light shades missing, air conditioners didn't work properly, wireless didn't work. Old but not maintained.Acceptable perhaps if the cost was $60 but not $150.
Fantastic view of the Glasshouse mountains. Good Location
Staff are unavailable. Unable to connect to their Wi-Fi. Bathroom smells musty. Too expensive for a run-down 2-3 star accommodation.
The fantastic view of the Blackhall Ranges
Very basic very old building everything creaked when you walked in the unit, everything creaked when people walked either side, when either side flushed the toilet, it was very loud in our unit, if it wasn't for the views you wouldn't stay there
The views was fantastic
No wifi and no service
Amazing view. Quiet peaceful stay with friendly staff. Room was huge but not pretty, the view made up for it though.
Bed was too firm
The views - spectacular
Accessories a bit basic for the price
good parking, large clean rooms, very comfortable, good wardrobe space, good coffee & tea making facilities great TV.excellent panoramic views & ambience great Location. Would recommend to a friend.
it had an amazing view and was very quiet
the rooms were very old and dusty, I would not recommend for a holiday stay. we just stayed overnight for a wedding which was fine. but not for relaxation
The view, towels, cooked breakfast
Restaurant not open, poor night lighting, steps. No tissues or soap in the bathroom.
The room was amazingly big and the bed very comfortable
The view of the Glasshouse Mountains, the kingsize bed was comfortable.
Tired decor and generally the "resort" needs maintenance.
Shower & bed. This complex needs upgrading.
