Staff were friendly and helpful

When I booked the rooms it said including breakfast but when I actually got to the hotel they told me that breakfast was extra.

large rooms, location,

choice of menu and price at in house restaurant. did not eat here. paid parking, did not use. Dark hallways

We thought the Travelodge Motel was extremely good , the staff were courteous and helpful. the room was clean as was the linen. we had adverse reports prior to our stay and were apprehensive. The position was excellent for our purpose.

Dont like shower over bath. Did not like having to pay extra for parking. There was a musty smell in the corridor. The door did not close on its own.

parking was an additional cost, many hotels have free or smaller cost for parking we had a view of a empty lot

Great location, close to bus transportation and also Newcastle wharf

Fantastic PR, flexibility & courtesy. Our show was cancelled, rang & changed dates, then we took ill. Rang again & received OK for grandson to take our booking. He then forgot the correct date. They checked with us & allowed grandson to stay the following day. Now that's service for you!! Thanks from us & our grandson.

I thought the hotel looked a bit old and tired maybe time for a facelift. Also some bigger towels or two person would be good when you need to wash your hair etc.

The size if the rooms, the convenience to the town centre.

The expensive Internet connection, but this is common in Australia. Asia provides this for free.

Location near Marketown.

The cockroaches. The noise.

Was close to most attractions...walking distance....rooms where nice and dark in the morning....

You could hear noise at times from other people....not enough undercover parking

We were in Newcastle to visit friends and had previously stayed at a local motel, was really impressed with the Travelodge, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable

The fact that there was not a hairdryer, normally it is in most hotel/motel rooms.

Convenient to the city Breakfast was good

Room was small and stuffy Noisy in the early hours of the morning.

the reception staff were great.

we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast - limited range and very overcooked eggs.

How close it was to shops and the beach

Loud groups of young drunk people keeping our floor awake by yelling and running up and down the corridore from 2am to 5am in the morning. Even when I asked them politely to keep the noise down, they continued and also took it on the street. It completely ruined our stay as we could not sleep.

Clean, close to everything and great value

When I wanted to get my husband to check in he had my credit card and staff would not let him in to the room and I was in a wedding so I was 2 hours away before I could get there it was very inconvenient even when I rang the staff 4 times to confirm who I was! He fell a sleep in the car for 2 hours

Needs urgent refurbishing . Air con didn't work TV didn't work We had to get the technician in our room, although he was a pleasant man it was an invasion of privacy, he had to return when we were out to fix it.

On-street parking for overnight.

Hairs were found in the bed, and need to change room in the middle of the night! The receptionist attitude can be better.

Paying for parking when there is ample around. Running toilet, dripping shower, clicking AC and beeping lock box.

Good solid accommodation which met my needs.

There was no top sheet on the bed and thus I was too hot under the duvet. The stand up lamp did not work.

No free internet access. Expencive onsite parking

Poor parking for non-compliementary. Finding the entrance was a CHALLENGE. Lots of noise at night.
