loved the location the best, next to casino, southbank, yarra, city, art centre, station, parks, fed sq, and not far from shopping, docklands, sports venues etc Great for any tourist coming to Melbourne and not having to pay the earth....! Funny enough when I came from Federation square, crossed the bridge and came down some stairs to a round about....was not sure where the entrance was until I was right on it. left or Right ?? |

The suite was comfortable, good range cups, glasses etc provided. There were very few tea bags provided, and also only a few of those silly little milk pots. Why not provide a small amount of fresh milk (which is much more palatable) and save the amount of unnecessary packaging that gets thrown out. Also I suggest the hotel keep a bank of umbrellas for guest use, as we can't take an umbrella on a plane anymore. On our visit we got drenched just walking 2 blocks along Southbank as there was no overhead shelter. |

The thing I liked most was the central location. The rooms are dated and over priced ihard and n todays market place. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. |

Convenient access to the CBD at a reasonable rate. Also the activity and vibrance at Southbank in the evening. The only negative comment would be that the room did not seem to have been vaccumed regularly. |

It was very competative price wise We spent 25 mins waiting for a key that worked. Given our third key we were given access to a room with a lady in it ! We were late for a gala ball. Being woken at 2am cold with no doona. We had 6 rooms booked, all out guests were cold in the night. The breakfast was supposed to finish at 9.30am. At 9.15am there was no fruit, no yoghert, no milk in the coffee machine and cold eggs. |
