The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was well insulated from outdoor noise. The decor was modern and groovy.
The loudness of the adjacent doors closing, especially early in morning. Soft door closures would be an improvement. Lack of bar fridge to keep things cool.
That you had to pay extra for tv and toiletries + towelse never seen that anywhere
Close to the city Friendly staff Flexible staff Clean rooms Close to Queen Victoria Market Cheaper alternative to CBD
As soon as hotel card is out of slot, air conditioning does what it wants and all outlets are dead. No breakfast opportunities (except banana bread and a few more things).
They gave us a free coffee in the morning.
They charged us to store the luggge for several hours the last day.
The design that was carried through the hotel - that was very cool. Also liked the fact that the bathroom fittings all worked very efficently. I have stayed in expensive hotels with terrible plumbing. Tune was 5 star in the plumbing department
I suffer from claustrophobia and found our twin bedroom very small and box like. I slep by the window with the curtain open and this helped.
Great location for visiting RMIT and a short walk into the centre. Friendly and helpful staff.
I had a spot of trouble connecting to the WiFi, had to turn the firewall off for a moment to access the login page. Once on, it was fast and reliable.
Location was close to work and close to resteraunts
Hot hotel, I'll fix the air temp next time
Located near the university of Melbourne and not far from the city. Good value vor money.
Cleanliness Location was excellent Bed was great
No coffee making facilities Small room
Lack of face washer and tea/coffee facilities in room
Close to shopping malls
No in house restaurant facilities after 3 pm
Location was good. hotel is modern.
Room is very small. There was no cleaning of the rooms on Sunday - an aspect which is not mentioned don their website or to guests when checking-in!
The location could not have been better for us; a short walk to the university where our son was graduating, a short walk to Lygon St and its restaurants, an even shorter walk to the tram station. We needed breakfast early and were able to get a good one at the hotel cafe. The bed was very comfortable and, best of all, there was absolutely no noise coming into our room.
We weren't told that we should put used towels outside the door and even though I put mine on the bathroom floor three times, it was simply left there. The wardrobe was a small rail on a wall but we couldn't expect to have everything at that price.
I really liked the fact that rooms are very new and modern. Moreover, everything is very clean.
Room a bit small (but fine for one person) and without wardrobe
1) Truly enjoyed the rain shower. The water pressure was strong and adjustable. So refreshing. 2) Comfortable bed. 3) Location is not bad. only 8 minutes walk to the city centre. Easy access for public transportation too.
1) Poor housekeeping. Housekeeping did not clean rooms properly. On our first day checked in the room, given us dirty towels, stains at the wash basin and sticky food at the top edge of rubbish bin. Daily housekeeping cleaning was poor, we stayed for 4 nights in Tune Hotel, the housekeeper never swept floor. Lots of sand on the floor in our last 2 nights stay. Only tidied the bed. 2) Poor customer service. Different receptionist on duty, gave different answer to your questions. Staff do not have proper training. Towers are chargable. However, they don’t bother to check your record on the bath towels collection, you can collect as many towels from the reception as you like. On the first day checked in to the hotel, one of the receptionists told us the housekeeping do not make room everyday but three days. However, on our period of stay, the housekeeping came to make up rooms daily.
The location (le lieu)
Air conditioning was not good and noisy, it was difficult to sleep with.
Location and price reasonable Bathroom/shower very good
Plumbing noises throughout the night making sleeping difficult. Room small and lacking in basic facilities like fridge, radio cupboard/drawers
It was clean and modern and a bit funky, we could walk everywhere in the city.
Rooms are very small with no coffee facilities or fridge, got woken up both mornings by the cleaning staff talking outside the room.
What we did not like was that we had to pay $2.6 for each of our bags to be stored for only few hours after checkout
Noone to help you carry your stuffs. No refridgerator. No restaurant
The room was practical and clean although on ground floor there was hot water available for tea and cofee it would have been nice to tea facility in the room
Clean and neat, walking distance to CBD and main transport facilities
Room clean, modern but tiny
Only stayed one night but it was a cute little place of high quality and the price was great.
The bed was a bit lumpy. I mentioned it to the staff on checkout and they said they would see to it. Good response from the staff.
value for money free water dispenser (hot & cold) location free coffee voucher pleasant reception staff free parking clean
cleaner does not vacuum everyday. to change tower has to go down to reception and wasn't informed until we asked. room is a bit same allow noise to go on after past midnight from common sitting area at Ground level
just a stroll to the city, free Wi -Fi and nice staff. The room had everything we needed. Perfect!
the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but that was just me! my partner thought it was perfect!
