Room tired and not as clean as it should be. Decor needs sprucing up.

The night staff were awesome and moved me from a noisy street room to a back room on my second night there.

The street room the first night was terrible and the bed caved in to the middle and was terribly uncomfortable. I slept about 3-4 hours at best.

Friendly staff; great room with a bath; excellent cafe for a delicious breakfast that was very reasonably priced.

This stay was a pleasant surprise on the last visit. There was no holding deposit of $200 like our last visit. On that basis I spent money in house on restaurant meals. The staff were very friendly, in fact more so than our last visit. We were in Sydney for 2 nights this visit, and it was very pleasant.

The tv still needs a degree to figure out. Otherwise this was a very nice stay.

i have stayed at the Vibe many many times on my trips to Sydney. this time i got a very small room tucked in a corner on a low floor. not ideal. at all

Room very good. All staff friendly and very helpful. Reception staff very efficient and courteous. The cafe was good and breakfast excellent.

We had a leak on the toilet waste pipe. This was reported by my wife and I but nothing was done in the four days we were there.

The one and only good thing about this hotel is that its budget friendly..so its good if u r there for work or u stay out the whole day

There's no enough staff working there..we faced a problem with our booking cause the 2 persons working in the recepition seemed like they were trainee..They didn't find the booking right away it took ages until we were done and went to our rooms. The housekeeping wasn't very efficient . I booked 3 rooms with breakfast yet everyday we had a problem cause something was wrong with the system and they wanted to charge us for the breakfast that we already paid for. And even that I went to the reception to fix that on the 3rd day and they gave us vouchers for breakfast,still when I was checking out the receptionist wanted to charge me for breakfast and I went crazy and he did something on the computer then told me sorry you are right but something was wrong with the system! I had a dirty bed cover that I asked to be changed from day one and I ended up leaving it on the floor for 5 days cuz no body changed it! So,It was not a very good experience. So,I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

In close walking distance of CBD and oxford st but also felt like a relatively safe location

Friendly reception on arrival by lovely young lady on reception desk. She made us feel very welcome from the start. Very informative, friendly and helpful reception staff as with all staff. Excellent breakfast. Good central position. Clean and well designed for a reasonable cost. We were able to extend our stay for an extra night with no trouble - the guy on reception sorting immediately.

Location ok if you want to be close to Oxford street. Fairly fresch renovated hotel. Probably fair value for the money if no specific demands.

Annoying noice from the nearby railway. Annoying noice from the airconditioning and maschines in the building. Horrible worn out bed, your back almost hit the floor. No personal service, hotel based on anonymous travellers og groups, very uncharming mass housing.

Ridiculous charges for wifi. I won't be back and neither will anyone from my company. Appalling for corporate travelers.

The Vibe staff are always lovely and the hotel is always clean. I also love the proximity to other parts of the city.

Location very convenient for shopping and sightseeing.

The hotel seemed to have deteriorated since my last visit a couple of years ago. The room appeared shabby and there was signs of damage on the furniture.

I loved the proximity to Surry Hills and the city. The staff were friendly and efficient. Curves Cafe was a great place to eat with delicious food at reasonable prices.

good sized rooms, excellent bar/bistro, helpfull staff

Everything! From check in, to check out was great.

Location was great for me, the staff were pleasant but seemed stressed.

The room was quite grubby, mainly at the edges go the carpet and skirting boards were very dusty as though there wasn't enough time given to clean it. The linen was tired and the walls need a paint.
