Location Ok, close to train station so easy to reach.... but far from waterfront Side-bar below clean room & facilities Kitchen not so big for such a big hostel No real comfy & social common room to meet... the TV room has big screen and loud film/serie on it, not the best Private room too basic for the price, not even a chair in the room!

The location was good. It's quick 15 minutes or so from the International terminal by airport train, then walk-able from the station and easy to find. Large lcd tv in private double room. Though extremely sparse for other furniture. Powerful showers, untimed, shower as long as you want with consistent hot water. Luggage storage available at hostel on ground floor, although must pay for usage due to the fact they are secure lockers. The big ones are big enough to fit a full size suitcase around 30kg plus a backpack. Very popular bar right next door with good deals. We were given free drink vouchers upon arrival to use at the bar, from the hostel. We booked 4 months in advance, private double room. Highly expensive for what you actually get. When we arrived, room was far too hot as we were rushing. Ok, yes, we did adjust after an hour or so, but girlfriend agrees, temp was definitely uncomfortable upon arrival. Our neighbour even had the door open and sitting halfway out in the hallway presumably for air. Not sure what temp they keep the rooms at but was told this wasn't adjustable, took about an hour to feel comfortable. Would have liked to put it a couple degrees lower or the ventilation at a higher speed. Furthermore, Window blinds didn't work. City lights very bright where this hotel is located. Staff member did tried best to rectify the problem (no other room available). Ended up getting a spare sheet and draping it over the large windows to block out the light so we could actually sleep. I found that bathroom cleanliness was fine in the mens bathroom. I have no complaint. However it was "really disgusting" in the ladies bathroom according to my girlfriend. We were there 2 nights she reports it seemed to not have been cleaned even once, rubbish/stains in the same places during the entire stay. Of the 3 or 4 toilets, 1 wasn't working, the other 3 were atrociously dirty. There is a sign inside that says inform reception if the bathroom needs cleaning, but I find this to be a poor policy, women may be more shy to report. Hostel needs to inspect bathrooms with more regularity. Lastly, we were travelling as a couple and were given 2 keycards, however 1 keycard didn't work, so we informed reception immediately and were given a replacement keycard, when we returned later that night, the replacement card also didn't work, luckily we got a working one on the 3rd try.

The bright fresh vibrant colours. Exceeded our expectations There were no tips or suggestions for parking options. We ended up getting stung with parking, paying $52 for overnight parking (15 hours) That was a shame as we had no idea of any alternatives

The rooms were clean, so were the lounge rooms, and the kitchen. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Some of the stalls in the bathroom had faulty locks. Plus the water doesn't heat up well.

Really comportable and clean hostel. Perfect for younger backpackers wanting some fun and to meet lots of people! When so expensive I think wifi should be for free as at so many other cheaper hostels! The waiting for the always over-full elevators all the time was a minus too. A bit too expensive for a longer stay but for some nights it's totoally worth it!

Stayed for a week over new years and the room wasn't cleaned once. Bin was over flowing and floor was dirty. Not acceptable seeing how over priced it was. Kitchen was to small and had to wait for a space even then there was no free saucepans to use so had to wait for someone to finish using theirs.

Great location for CBD. Wifi not being free, most hotels/hostels in europe, south africa and usa have free wifi for guests. It isn't expensive to provide for guests.

I liked the rooms and how safe we felt in the rooms as you need key card to activate the lift. Great location I didn't like the blinds in the room they are between two pains of glass and don't close fully so light comes in from the street. Also house keeping knock say housekeeping and come straight in when I had called out no thank you. They walked in on me trying to get dressed. It was pretty cold in the room it was like a swampy was on but it wasn't that hot. It was max 25 degrees. Its a good place but just a few downfalls.
