Just the free breakfast really. So many things: bath was disgustingly stained. Electric blanket didn't work, no one responded to complaint.p Toilet operation jammed. Shower/bath next to impossible to handle. Curtain sagged in middle. Cleaners didn't even wipe table over after use.

The location was great and the breakfast inclusion was great value. The rooms and decor were a little tired, especially the bathroom.

A comfortable hotel - the room was quite large and comfortable. It had an old world atmosphere, but had everything you need. Although it was school holidays, and quite full, it was very quiet. Our room had a view over the pool (weather too cold for swimming) to the golf course. It was very pretty to see the leaves on the trees change colour. The hotel is just a short drive to Leura shops and other Blue Mountain activities. The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. Dinner at the Jasmine Restaurant also recommended.

We liked the quietness and the setting. Lighting not good need brighter lights for reading. When staying for a few days a comfortable chair or lounge.

Our rooms were very clean and contained all the amenities we required, and the beds were very comfortable. The buffet breakfast offered a great range of well-cooked food and the tariff was extremely competitive. The staff were most attentive without being intrusive. Some of the bathroom fittings were a little tired and could do with replacement. The bath towels were similarly tired, one of them having a hole in the middle.

Peaceful and very quiet surrounding; spectacular garden!!!; Friendly, efficient and helpful staff; a very comfy bed (!); generous and tasty breakfast - its variety, great coffee!!! The interior could be more friendly for a longer (a few days, say) stay - a plate or two, tea towel, microwave oven mounted on a shelf (above rubbish bin) giving better space on a bench, exhaust fan in the bathroom! - a must! - a few more radio stations on tv program would be nice, maybe some classic?...

Room was tastefully and comfortably furnished. Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bathroom was cramped and had inadequate light around the mirror, for things like shaving, doing makeup and more improtantly removal of contact lenses. More freshly cut up fruit for breakfast would be nicer than the canned stuff and natural yogurt as well as the flavoured one. Corridor outside the room needed to be vacuumed.

I love the privacy of where it is situated, it is family friendly as well as gay/lesbian friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent. I especially love the surrounding gardens and the fact that you can wander around at your own pace and sit at the many different situated tables/chairs with a bottle of wine or a beer and relax. My only complaint is that the room we stayed in was missing some lighting - the globes were broken and 2 of the lights did not work - but apart from that, everything else was great.
