The motel is not walking distance to town for dinner, and there is no restaurant. Having a young child we decided to self cater. The kitchenette was sparse in the crockery/cutlery dept with only 2 plates. Also missing a few basics that would have made this easier - a chopping board, some bowls, sharp knife and desert spoons...all would have come in handy when prepping our meal. But this was minor complaint, would stay here anytime.
We were met by the lovely Tania who was a delightful host, nothing was too much trouble, even heating up the spa for us, the only guests. We stayed in the Muscat room, very comfortable beds. The room has front door where you park your car, and back door leading to pool, spa and garden area. There is a great area for kids to run around, swings, trampolines etc and adults enjoyed a late night spa under the stars.
