Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is a small seaside guest house. The beautiful venue has come into new management, a small family run business. The three star facility focuses on customer satisfaction while ensuring hospitable and personable service. Located on the venue is an outdoor pool and on-site restaurant operating only for breakfast. Complementary Wi-Fi is provided in public areas, so enjoy a coffee and a view while you finish up on work. Our rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning, a television set, microwave, fridge and other essential equipment. The main focal point being the surrounding scenery accessible to view on a private balcony. Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is 38km grin the ferry terminal at Penneshaw. Located in American River on Kangaroo Island, The River Suites is a boutique hotel offering 8 king rooms, each with stunning ocean views. All our rooms are fitted with king size beds, some can be divided into two doubles. We provide high speed internet and some appliances such as microwave, toaster and kettle. The outdoor pool is open between November and April. All room rates include breakfast served at the restaurant from 8:00 am. Get special discount on our dinner experience when booking rooms with us.
American River is a nature lovers dream. For those seeking peace and quite amongst nature but want the convenience of a short trip to the hustle and bustle of Penneshaw or Kingscote. Tucked away right at the bottom of the hill are beautiful beaches along the bay with its own feathery residence. Perfect for the early birds who enjoy a morning stroll to see the beautiful black swans, pelicans and playful dolphins who make an appearance in our cozy little bay.
