It is in the city center and shopping area. The breakfast is also good. Charge for wireless internet access was too high. But this was not actually a problem for me since I could go to an internet cafe nearby which was much cheaper. |

Centrally located - great for shopping. Friendly professional courteous staff. Comfortable beds. I like the fact that there is a dining room, bar etc. The room was a twin share. The carpet was a bit old and stained - even though the room was clean, the TV was very old - and there were multi power plugs with chords hanging out of them. We expected the room to be a little bigger for the price - maybe we visited to close to Spring Carnival. |

The excellent location and walking distance to all touristic spots, good beds and clean bathroom Cheap messy entrance and depressingly run down and narrow corridors to the room, very small room where one could hardly move, doors were not very soundproof so you could hear everything in the corridor, no in room safe and no place to put your luggage |

Your staff are very friendly and helpful Due to renovation outside of the hotel, we got waken up from 6am to 8:30am and had to change room to a higher floor. |

Our family found the location perfect for a city stay, considering our interests and proximity to tram stops. We loved the quiet & peace at night whilst sleeping. The friendly help desk & concierge were a great help. Room cleaning was great and safe & secure feeling we got from the hotel means we will book again when we next visit. As a family we would have liked a toaster to accompany the tea/coffee facilities. |

The room was clean. After a few days stayed at Mercure and Ibis in Australia, we got an upgrade on our last day which was fantastic. The carpet is too dark color, lighter color could give a nicer atmosphere. |

The location is ideal for central Melbourne. We were woken one morning before 6am by maintenance work being carried out in the next room. This was not emergency work but scheduled repairs, although the hotel staff did say they were unaware that the contractors would be starting so early, apologised and gave us a reduced rate for the day. |

breakfast was adequate standard of decoration: dingy, threadbare carpet, stained bath and water staining in the kitchen area; very depressing to stay there; extremely old tv; internet facilities poor, slow and expensive eg. took more than 5 minutes to send a message so that I couldn't really do all I wanted in the time bought |

It has quite a good central location for shopping, restaurants and arts centre and breakfast(included) was good. Room was quite small and corridors made you feel slightly claustrophobic.TV controls a bit difficult to operate. Bathroom also small so shower without bath would have been better option. |

Nice and clean - exceptionally well located with access to shops and restaurants. Value for money with breakfast package Room was ok, clean and bright but hallways could do with a little sprucing up, some fresh paint, better lighting and some decorative highlights would go a long way |

I found the staff very pleasant although concerning was what I was communicated did not occur. Eg I was assured check-in prior to arrival would ensure rooms available. When we arrived we were delegated in the line up of those waiting. Valet parking was excellent. As was breakfast - The room was situated next to the lift - noisy all night. not only the lift but people entering and exiting the lift (all hours of the night) too close proximity - Access to use the lift was limited as it appeared only one lift was working on check out morning. We had to use the stairs as the lift stopping was full each time, my friend has a back condition and I was concerned about her (4) - as noted I had checked the night before if I could pre check in on travel down and was told yes, assured on the day it would okay (one hour before arrival) only to be waiting in line and then told only one room available - had booked with friends). Better access system for check in and discharge could be an option. |
