Mercure Welcome Melbourne

O melhor deste hotel eh a localizacao. Fica bem no centro, perto de diversos pontos turisticos. Para quem quer fazer tudo andando eh uma otima opcao.

Nao recomendo este Hotel por algumas razoes: Apesar da excelente localizacao, o quarto eh pequeno, o cheiro do hotel nao eh dos melhores e eh possivel escutar todos os vizinhos, tanto o de cima quanto o dos lados. A acustica eh pessima! Muito ruim mesmo!

A localização, em frente a Chinatown, no Centro da Cidade ao lado de grandes lojas e de pontos de interesse. Very good location, close to a lot of interesting places.

The font office was very helpful.Prompt apology for a mistake is appreciated.

There were no amenities(shower gel/showercap) and informed the front office at 11pm as housekeeping was closed.We got a reply the next morning that shower gel is not supplied and there is soap.We were shocked!Shower cap came after a few minutes.Frustrated is the word.

I continue to return because of the location and convenience of the hotel layout. The staff are generally polite and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very affordable, cocoon bar is funky and valet services are good.

We had a recent experience which was regrettable. I rang the night desk to report loud 'laundry like' noises coming out of rom 1124 and was told that someone would be sent up. the noise itself was quite remarkable and continued all night and i didn't like to ring the desk again. although the next morning the staff were very accommodating no real explanation was given except that the maintenance crew were testing equipment in a hotel room and that it had been turned off. Complimentary drinks were provided. I haven't previously had any bad experiences and will continue to book with Mercure because of previous high standards.

The comfort and cleanness as well as the price for the stay

Centrally located - great for shopping. Friendly professional courteous staff. Comfortable beds. I like the fact that there is a dining room, bar etc.

The room was a twin share. The carpet was a bit old and stained - even though the room was clean, the TV was very old - and there were multi power plugs with chords hanging out of them. We expected the room to be a little bigger for the price - maybe we visited to close to Spring Carnival.

best place in the area

Our family found the location perfect for a city stay, considering our interests and proximity to tram stops. We loved the quiet & peace at night whilst sleeping. The friendly help desk & concierge were a great help. Room cleaning was great and safe & secure feeling we got from the hotel means we will book again when we next visit.

As a family we would have liked a toaster to accompany the tea/coffee facilities.

The room was clean. After a few days stayed at Mercure and Ibis in Australia, we got an upgrade on our last day which was fantastic.

The carpet is too dark color, lighter color could give a nicer atmosphere.

All Hotel staf were very pleasant and helpful, hotel location was perfect for shopping and restaraunts with a short walk.

The price per night was in my opinion high, and should of included breakfast meal,

The location is ideal for central Melbourne.

We were woken one morning before 6am by maintenance work being carried out in the next room. This was not emergency work but scheduled repairs, although the hotel staff did say they were unaware that the contractors would be starting so early, apologised and gave us a reduced rate for the day.

Good location for shopping and dining. Everything we needed was easily accessed. If we are ever back in Melbourne we will stay here again.
