Whiterock Leisure Park  

One of the best places in Cairns I've stayed. I will reccomend to my friends to choose to stay there too.

Transport accessibility is quite difficult.

Excellent value for money Comfortable self contained cabin. The only downside was that it is a 25 minute bus ride to Cairns, and some distance from shops. Ideal if you have a car.

place was very clean

keys to get to the toilet, air-con haven't got remote and was set for 19 degrees, way to cold, hat to turn it on and off all the time.

Nothing at all and will not be ever going there again!

Lack of service, office was always closed, keys didn't work.. A/c didn't work, toaster didn't work. In the laundry on wall it stated machine was $2.40 but u had to put $4.00 in each machine. No a/c control.. Ants in there.. The photos on booking.com looked really good but when we arrived and after they had taken money off my credit card we had to put up with it.. We had enough by Thursday and we out laid more money on another hotel due to poor service etc!!!!! We left the place cleaner then what we arrive to. We will never. Go back there and would not recommend it to any of our friends!!!!!

the location was good,the staff were very helpful, facilities with the laundry, bbq and pool were very good.

It was really good value for money. Comfortable, roomy with everything you need. Fridge, kitchenette with microwave and aircon.Nice grounds.

As long as you realise it is a caravan park with cabins and small units it is fine. Location is 10 mniutes drive south of central Cairns so you need a car. Not really anything to do in the vicinity so its a car trip to go anywhere.

It was excellent kitchen set up, basic but made it very easy to cut costs for meals. Lovely gardens and pool area, certainly felt like we were in the Tropics. The staff were very friendly.

It was too far from Cairns Esplanade.

Very cheap price and quite large rooms.

It is far from the city. It means that you need a car and that you can find insects of any type in the room.

Handy location for what I had to do

No bathing facility for baby. 11a key kept getting stuck. Someone kept parking at my door.

the plastic cover on the mattress, the bed was uncomfortable, there was very little space inside the unit to move around, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, building work noise started early in the day (6am) and went on all day, internet access at the office was super slow and occasionally didn't work and needed to be nursed along.

It is a Caravan Park set in a beautiful location with well maintained tropical plants and trees- it felt like we were in the middle of a rainforest. Our son loved roaming around the park exploring. It was quite safe and though we didn't use the pool, we probably will next time when we visit during slightly warmer days. Staff were very friendly and helped us with extra blankets, books to read, and directions. They made us feel very welcome. Late check-in was a breeze. Thanks to all.

Not much. We got more than what we expected. Perhaps a small container of milk in the fridge would have been nice, for a welcome cuppa. We had a rental car, so it was great to go to the nearest shops. And as we are from Sydney, everything seemed so close!

Very friendly staff. Cabin was very clean with airco.

Its an excellent place to dtay with family and friends, escpecially a villa or if two people are staying then it is still cheaper, they have their own small shop and it is a beautiful location except you just have to be careful during night times, a friendly staff and nonetheless good ambience. I would definitely recommend others to go stay.

Very good value for money, nice cabin. very friendly and helpful staff that could book tours. They had lots of information about the area.

Een goede busverbinding om de hoek, wassen is goed mogelijk en een prima plek om in Cairns dingen uit te zoeken. Echt super prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Rustige plek met veel natuur om je heen, fijn dat je gratis kunt parkeren. Goede uitvalsbasis voor cape tribulation en Daintree rainforest.

We hadden heeeel hard internet nodig en dat is daar niet te doen, alleen dure supermarkt dichtbij, zwembad was een pierenbadje en eigen minimarkt daar stelde weinig voor. MacDonalds om de hoek haha.

will never stay there again

nothing really, its a bit basic, but it served its purpose as an overnight on way to airport. its cheap and so for the price you have to be realistic.

the main road is being all re done so finding it was rather hard.

Goede faciliteiten (inductie kookplaten, koelkast, broodrooster, waterkoker, magnetron, airconditioning, handoeken). Goed bed en kussens.

The bathroom in the cabin had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke despite the cloying airfreshener that had been used.

At night its hard to find as there is no signs to say upcoming accommodation = the caravan park opposite has a lot of the focus on it. During the day though there are small signs that make it hard to see if you didn't know where you were going.

Was a little hard to find as we travelled at night & not much signage. Though when we drove around through the day there is signage but not in places easily seen.
