Not bad for short time
Crowded and little bit old.
Stayed in a 6 bed-dorm but only one person in the room with me. Rooms are big and very clean. Matress was good. Clean kitchen ( for people who don't do their dishes and leave stuff everywhere get fined, thank you staff it seems to work!)
No locker available in the room.
Help at the reception
Common area not so nice
Good atmosphere. Helpful staff.
Was very cold at night.
The staff was really friendly, the common area is open all night long.
The Kitchen is closed at night.
The staff was pretty helpful and cleaned the rooms and the kitchen every day..it's quite a handy location because it's close to the station, Coles and walking distance from the CBD and the library (with free Internet!)..and they have deals for 3 nights or a week..would probably stay there again if need
It is noisy, especially on the weekend..and the kitchen is too small for the lot of people, just one sink e no proper fan..
Washing area open 11 to 23 . It was not good . Ironing is just one . Internet fee is 5 dollars for 24 hour for WiFi . That's too expensive .
Excellent in all aspects. This hostel has got a great culture, very friendly and a nice ambiance. A good place to make some friends and best value for money. Highly recommend it.
Feel like your at home and part of a family
Bit hot at night
Nice staff Convenient kitchen
The price: $52/night! Too much noisy, impossible to sleep
Staff, location and price.
Nice decent staff that could help us out with our queries. Could park the car on their driveway for $5 as the usual free roads round the corner were rammed with cars visiting the stadium for big matches. Well equipped kitchen and lots of fridge space. Decent communal area where people can chat and socialize. Clean beds and bathrooms, never had to wait to use the toilet or shower - plenty of hot water.
Is a party hostel, not really bad but if you don't like noise or people wondering into the dorm at 4am this place isn't for you. My dorm bed was broken so sleeping wasn't that comfortable but we only stayed one night which was ok.
Very well located, not far from bus station, city center and the beach. The hostel propose some facilities like a big kitchen, a pool, big screen, it is a nice place to meet people.
I hated the bed, very painfull for the back. I was also cold, I had no blanket. The room was very durty and noisy but mainly because of the people occupying the room who did not care about others. Internet is very expensive. It would have been better to share a room with a group of friends. I was on my own and sharing a room with strangers was not a good idea.
The bathroom facilities were awesome, cleanest I've ever seen at a hostel! Water pressure was so and so. Nice touch with a hairdryer and straightener in the girl's bathroom. Staff was great!
Kitchen was nasty! So small and dirty. Didnt want to cook anything in there! Matress was also very poor, big hole in the middle.
Hostel is close to city
Very affordable, girl on the front desk was amazingly friendly and helpful.
Bunks were very creaky. I had booked us as a group in a dorm and we had been sharing a key as we were all together.. And at 4am in the morning the owner found one of the group outside the door, interrogated him and instead of just checking the id that he had previously logged...woke me up to verify that he was part of our group. I find that pretty poor show from an owner.
