There was a really friendly feeling with all the people and you got into the group very easily. It was great fun staying there.
Staff were friendly. Rules were enforced. Room was spacious. Quite a relaxed atmosphere. Stuff to do most nights. Plenty of toilet and shower facilities
TV didn't work very well. The showers were a little run down. Quite a few flies around the main social area. Oh and the bunk beds were very noisy. But basically nothing major.
Comfortable beds, quiet area, friendly staff
Issues with the phone meant being left outside for 40 minutes until someone who check me in, paid wifi can be slow, and advertise discounts/booking tours but currently don't have the capacity to do so.
Tidy and clean place, they clean toilets and kitchen every day. Close to the stadium, central bus station and you can get to South bank by walkin .
In the middle of a main road a bit too loud. There is not a real common area a part the dining room with a big table.
the staff was nifce and the location good
only 2 showers, and no hot water!!! the kitchen sas just a mess and with flies everywhere.
Friendly staff and atmosphere
Run down common areas, kitchen was dirty.
Compare with other backpackers. It is clean. Staff had been very helpful. 10-15 mins to walk to the city and South Bank. Quiet at night.
I stay in a 8 females room. The bed wasn't very comfortable. All of them are very cheap mattress. There is a big hole in the middle. If anyone would like to stay here, I suggest you better take a jacket with you to put under your waist and bum when you sleep.
Not bad for short time
Crowded and little bit old.
They try to keep you in a safe as they can
It is very noisy all night long that is the way ,,they thinking that is the way to make people in joy and happiness ,,The accept rude people as a gust ,,,The cleanness very low and room are very messy and dirty, also the staff treat some people do not like them in racist manner,,, I do not recommended honestly to any respectfull person unless was drugy ,thanks
Stayed in a 6 bed-dorm but only one person in the room with me. Rooms are big and very clean. Matress was good. Clean kitchen ( for people who don't do their dishes and leave stuff everywhere get fined, thank you staff it seems to work!)
No locker available in the room.
Help at the reception
Common area not so nice
Good atmosphere. Helpful staff.
Was very cold at night.
The staff was really friendly, the common area is open all night long.
The Kitchen is closed at night.
The staff was pretty helpful and cleaned the rooms and the kitchen every day..it's quite a handy location because it's close to the station, Coles and walking distance from the CBD and the library (with free Internet!)..and they have deals for 3 nights or a week..would probably stay there again if need
It is noisy, especially on the weekend..and the kitchen is too small for the lot of people, just one sink e no proper fan..
Washing area open 11 to 23 . It was not good . Ironing is just one . Internet fee is 5 dollars for 24 hour for WiFi . That's too expensive .
Excellent in all aspects. This hostel has got a great culture, very friendly and a nice ambiance. A good place to make some friends and best value for money. Highly recommend it.
Feel like your at home and part of a family
Bit hot at night
