The location was amazing, the hot tub was awesome and the staff were just incredible, so helpful!
BreakFast was very good
Quiet comfort and excellent breakfasts and friendly host and hostess
Everything, the scenery & things to do in mount martha, the kitchen goods, the bedding, the whole cottage as a whole, beautiful. Definitely recommend!!!
The spa. It's like it hasn't been cleaned out in a year or so, There's bits of, what im going to assume is dead skin that settle within the spa, but once disturbed rises to the surface in this yellowish foam pockets. Appears to of had this for a while as if you look across where the surface of the water is on the spa's material, it looks as if it is stained by the same gross material we digged up while trying to relax. Perhaps when you do book here (highly recommended) that you ask for them to make sure the spa is cleaned out first...
Cooked breakfast was excellent comtable cottage
Bit far out if you donnt have a driver when you go out and want to have a wine.no transport .only taxi
We enjoyed being just a twosome finally taking a few days off from our busy calender at home. The change in scenery, the beatiful gardens, the lovely house & the surounding country of Mornington Peninsula all contributed to a happy few days.
Having to leave to come home. Derek was a very considerate host but regretfully we didnt meet Stella. We would like to come again, all being well, in 2015.
Everything, lovely room, beautiful relaxing garden ,peaceful surrounds, excellent breakfast and friendly hosts.
A fantastic hot tub that can be used at any time of the year.
I was disappointed that the hot tub turned off early than I was told was the cut off time.
We recently stayed at Woodland by the Bay for a short break. A very comfortable B&B with restful outdoor areas and lovely hosts. Would definitely stay here again
Lovely unobtrusive but helpful hosts, great location beautifully catered and very restful..
The beds were a bit hard for my liking but that would but that would be all I could fault..Cheers
A beautiful place with a warm breakfast ready when you wake up every morning! Couldn't ask for anything more.
Location, friendliness of staff
basic facilities, poor value for money
Puddleduck Cottage: Spacious living area, well equipped kitchen, quiet location, electric blankets, heated overhead light in bathroom and heated towel rack.
Smoky smell that permeated the cottage - difficult for sensitive noses.
Spa Appartment was very nice and comfortable for an extended stay
Hosts were exceptional, food great, peaceful and comfortable accommodation... Little piece of heaven
Just everything, felt like home away from home. Amazing
Great spot on the peninsula. Plenty of room, great access, lovely surroundings, good breakfast.
Exceptional care of the owners.
Lovely owners who thoughtfully had the sap on heating for us.
Bit chilly out at the table outside- when we were having an early morning breakfast- might benefit from a patio heater.
The Cottage is a home away from home. Everything was great; including the host Derek, who dropped by when we arrived & when we were about to leave to make sure that everything were alright. For first timers, make sure you have google map or GPS as the cottage is not your normal motel/hotel stay. Thanks for the wonderful place.
Could make do with a dryer apart from just the washing machine.
Gardens were beautiful. Peaceful surrounds. Beds & Pillows were among the top 3 I've encountered while staying away from home.
My impression that the hotel was self contained and with single beds and spa were inaccurate. The pictures on the site do not specify which cottage has which facilities and sleeping arrangements...my teenage boys had to share a queen bed in stead of sleeping in a single each. Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen facilities due to their liability insurance. This means that hosts come into your living space to cook for you and then clean up after... Hosts live in same house, only divided by a sliding wooden door...so, even though they go out of their way to make you feel welcome, it still feels like you are intruding in their home...
