Breakfast was basic but very good for the money. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Free shuttle through the downtown was only a 10 minute walk.
1. Bad customer service from front counter. 2. Human hair on towels. Unlikely to have been clean. 3. Noise from trains woke us up at 5am... very loud. 4. They did not sell bottled water and when I asked at the counter to buy some they told me to walk to the corner store 3 blocks away. 5. The handle to open the window was broken and missing. 6. Very over priced considering all the above
Breakfast was better than expected. I didn't expect a choice of cereals, and with a help yourself to cereals and toast, a good foundation was laid for the day. The staff answered any queries and were always pleasant.
Nothing caused us any great inconvenience. This is a clean budget hotel within easy access to the main areas of Sydney. My wife has had knee replacement and found the walk to Central Station (10mins) no problem.
The personnel was nice and helpful and the location, although not being a beutiful one, was fairly handy. Walking distance (a bit long but anyways) to the restaurants in Redfern and walking distance to the Central railway station.
The first room I got smelled like cigarettes, but I was allowed to change rooms. The trains run right next to the building so the rooms are very noisy.
Cheap Private bathroom Breakfast included
It's bit of a walk from the city and central train station. The area is a little bit rundown.
Staff were great, short walk to the city, complimentary breakfast.
Bathroom door didn't close properly
value for money extended parking location
Given a double room instead of a twin, which made it difficult when travelling with students, despite clearly booking 2 twins not a twin and a double
Parking at reasonable extra cost
It's way overpriced for a albeit clean shoebox. Unfortunately I left my booking until the last minute and obviously they charge more close to the date. My friend who booked early paid a third of what I did. Trains are constant and very noisy but you get used to it. Room basic and clean
Overall it is a good hotel for the price. Close to Railway Square and the facilities including the breakfast was good. The room with private bathroom was clean though it is a bit cramped. The hotel is situated next to the railway over-bridge but since our room was facing away there was no noise. Will visit again.
Size of the room is small. No public transport till the hotel though Railways Square is less than 10 min walk. No free wifi. Height of shower is low. Loud noise of running water whenever people next door were using bathroom.
I llike its cleanliness, and the fridge.
The lack of chicken egg for the breakfast.
close to where we had to go pet expo rooms clean and neet
bathroom door wouldn't close took a while for hot water to come through
Coffee not available every morning
Clean ness,Helpfull, provided breakfast, good access to downtown, near train station and buses, internet available and telephone.
A little close to rail track for noise level but you get used to it.
very good staff - we checked out around 3 o'clock in the morning and we have prepared breakfast at this time
very small room paid wifi connection
The motel was a short walk from central station. As I was catching a country link train it was ok.
I found the room stuffy, I think the airconditioner wasn't working. When I opened the window it was rather noisy due to the constant traffic. The room was a bit small, it seemed a bit unusual that the steam in the bathroom could set off the alarm system, are you certain that your alarm system is not the problem as I never heard of that before.
the staff on the front desk were always very helpful
located close to the central station which was very convenient
the kitchen facilities could be more clean
Location to where I was Training
Limited eating places
Great location and easy access to everything. Great nearby pubs and meals. no car needed,
Lack of pillows (1 per bed, and were told no others were available) and no curtains on the windows
Great Location Easy walk to trains and restaurants Value for money Friendly staff Easy parking
Small room, but adequate for our needs
Location to Central Park & City
The rooftop was unavailable this time should notify guest about this issue The fact my hotel rate was deducted from my account months before arrival and no confirmation of booking was given.
Clean room, hot water, double glazed windows to keep out street noise, comfy bed, friendly staff , reasonably priced, coffee/tea making.
A little further from the city than we thought.
Breakfast is ok.
behavior /conduct of staff was discourteous. we have learnt in management that customer is a king but here the staff did not believe in this. One receptionist was extremely rude to me when my room lock became faulty and being an old man and dead tired in eve I went to complain about it.Room was not properly made.
Bathroom facility poor door is flimsy
