Small and cosy. Karibu has 3 different rooms so it is not a hotel but an apartment really. They offer a really nice breakfast for 15 $ per person and have a nice small pool at the backyard. Andreas, our host, was such a nice guy and made us feel like home when we arrived. Great place to stay and location is also good. You can walk to Marriot and Palm beach from the Karibu. Takes about 10 minutes. There is also a shopping center close by. Really enjoyed our one night stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

This type of facility is similar to a bed and breakfast in the States. The room had a private bath and mini kitchen that was stocked with drinks and snacks. Easy walking distance to the beach and shopping. Great common areas, open court yard and pool. The owners were very personalble and we enjoyed chatting with them and they were very helpful informing us of the area and he gave us a ride to our 2nd destination on the island. The shower had only cool water, but after being on the island for one day I understand that the shower was also a way to cool off. It is just something that is different not necessarily bad. I just heated up some water in the kitchen to wash my hair.

Owners are nice hardworking couple following their dreams. They even drove us to beach and casino. Not a luxury hotel but a very relaxing intimate location.

Excellent attention, the owners are there all the time to answer any question or help you however you like it. The place is at walking distance from the beach and bus stop in a very safe neighborhood. Karibu is like a bed and breakfast but the rooms are bigger, they have a small kitchen and the pool is relaxing. I will come back again.

I really liked Karibu. It`s clean and neat. Andreas, the owner is very nice and helpfull. The day we arrived he took us to a restaurant in his own car.

Vi blev väl mottagna av en serviceminded och trevlig personal. De kunde svara på de flesta frågor vi ställde och boka hyrbil eller erbjuda skjuts till ställen rumtomkring ön. Läget var bra om än lite avskilt från de finaste hotellen på palm beach och centrum så räkna med att gå en del. Rummet (twin room) var värt varenda krona vi gav. Det var lite långt till stranden eftersom vi blev tvugna att gå runt ett kvarter p.g.a ansamling av regnvatten framför hotellet. Det är bara hotellen precis vid stranden som har tillgång till solstolar/palmer. Gick dock att hyra stolar för 5 $/pers på vissa ställen.
