Surrounded by pine forest, over-looking the clear blue of the eastern Adriatic Sea, this award-winning hotel offers rooms and apartments beside a private beach.

Situated in the quieter part of Neum, 500 metres from the town centre, Hotel Villa Nova was the winner of "Best 'Aparthotel' in Bosnia and Herzegovina", awarded by the Bosnia and Herzegovina Hotel and Restaurant Association.

Double rooms offer a convenient and cosy stay, while apartments can accommodate large families and even include their own kitchen. Explore the hotel and you'll find you can relax on the hotel's own beach, exclusively reserved for guests, or unwind with a drink at the beach bar or a bite to eat in the restaurant.

Versatile conference facilities offer modern equipment and can accommodate around 30 delegates.

Area information

Neum is a resort on the Adriatic coast in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is in fact the only seaside resort in Bosnia and Herzegovina. All motor traffic between the Croatian towns of Ploče in the north and Dubrovnik in the south passes what has been known as the Neum corridor, a 9 km long stretch of Bosnia-Herzegovina territory. Sometimes your passports are checked, sometimes not. With its long and warm summers and short and mild winters, Neum is considered to be one of the seaside towns with the greatest number of sunny days in the year.

The geographical position of Neum is very convenient for tourists because of its proximity to the major tourism destinations in neighbouring Croatia (Dubrovnik – 60 km, Korčula – 70 km, Ston – 30 km) and in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Mostar – 70 km, Medjugorje – 50 km, Hutovo Blato – 30 km). Excursions to some of those places (half day or whole day) can be booked. Other activities include photo safaris on the Neretva river, visits to rural tourism households in the hinterland of Neum, birdwatching, sports and recreational activities, visits to vineyards and vintage, to olive and tangerine plantations.

The apartment we stayed in was not very modern but was a good size and had a great view from the balcony. They had their own pier which was great as we had it to ourselves for our stay and it was walking distance from the bars and restaurants.

Il servizio in appartamento, a cortesia e disponibilita' del personale. Il luogo in cui si trova la struttura.

De ligging aan het mooie zwemwater van de Adriatische Zee, vriendelijkheid van het personeel, goede kamer, goed restaurant.

Wij waren zeer tevreden, maar men moet er wel rekening mee houden dat het hotel aan zee ligt, terwijl de doorgaande weg met winkeltjes en bushalte een aardig eind klimmen verder naar boven in de heuvels ligt. Voor mensen die niet van klimmen houden en geen auto bij hebben is het hotel daarom minder geschikt, hoewel men bij het hotel voor klanten ook graag een taxi wil regelen.

Een fijn rustig hotel, met zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Het eigen rustige "strand" was een ware uitkomst aangezien de publieke stranden overvol waren. Eten in het restaurant is ook aan te bevelen, zeker a la carte.Dit is iets duurder dan het buffet, maar abosuluut de moeite waard.

Het was jammer dat je voor de stoelen en parasol nog exra moest betalen.

Uvanlig god oppfølging fra personalet. Svært behjelpelig og imøtekommende.God mat og atmosfæren var personlig og hyggelig.

Kanskje mer skriftlig informasjon om hotellets og Neums fasiliteter.
