Close to Sarajevo's green district of Ilidza and just over a mile from Sarajevo International Airport, Hollywood Hotel provides spacious and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a spa...
Score from 350 reviews Good
The location was very good. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Wifi didn't work Fridge didn't work Safe didn't work Hotel corridors very poorly lit Told staff of issues with safe, wifi etc but, despite assurances, nothing was done. Parking was very expensive and, overall, this was very overpriced for what it was.
Everything was fine
Friendly efficient reception staff - a credit to the hotel.
Room is good
The worse fiteness center i have ever seen..the lady in the spa carless and laieng..she didnt want to wark..i paid fine because i didnt retun the the card key in check out.
Nice comfy rooms!
Jacuzzi wasn't working at all!
First room did not have bathtub in bathroom but they changed it for a very good room with a bathtub and shower. Everything was very good at the hotel.
No bacon on the breakfast menu. For a city which boasts religious tolerance, this was a let down!
Excellent location. Ver nice room. Great breakast.
Best location in town
The hotel location is excellent, nice wiew, historical bildings, traditional foods.
Excellent location. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent variety for breakfast. Rooms were large and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Sarajevo
Great location. Nice view over Old Town from balcony in our room, comfortable enough bed. The restored Vienna Cafe is lovely (but you don't need to stay at the hotel to go there). Wifi was fine, plenty of information booklets at the reception desk, lobby ok.
My husband tried checking in speaking Bosnian - they told him to sit and wait as the system was purportedly down. Two more guests came immediately after him and spoke in English and were checked straight in bye reception. He then walked back up to the counter and checked in (in English) and miraculously there was no problem…What should we conclude from that?! Hotel is seemingly designed for businessmen - dark wood paneled rooms, dark bathrooms, dark carpets…Basically, dark. Bathroom again apparently designed for men: had no standard toiletries women expect at a hotel of this price (shower caps etc.), poor lighting. Our TV also did not work. Not worth the money. We will choose somewhere else next time.
central location easy for business meetings
Location in the center close to all tourist attractions. Good 5 star hotel
The staff were very professional and the breakfast was amazing!
I have never been to a hotel that charges to use the sauna. The wi-fi was choppy and really slow. Everything else was pretty good.
The location and helpful staff
The best hotel in Sarajevo! The location is perfect, the design, cleanliness and amenities of the rooms are perfect and the staff is very friendly. A true 5 star hotel, even by western standards.
good location near the historical center
Too much noice due to a party downstair
-location -facilitities at the Hotel
- breakfast is lacking if you are a little bit late.
Great location. Comfortable room.
Staff is not the most friendly, and hotel is more oriented "tour operators".
Good hotel in good location
The location of the Hotel and it's ambience
Location, food, breakfast and the overwhelming view from our suite on top floor. Also the flexibility of the staff, since we could put our bags there after checking out.
The wifi sucks. Another important thing to keep in mind: pls do not let the bell boys arrange your taxi after you have checked out. The taxi he got us was not enough and we needed two more, so the first taxi driver forced us to stay for two of his other taxi buddies and to make a long story ahort: They drove us up in the mountains to the Serbian side of the city, promising us a view to die for, but we ended up in the woods high up in the hills in front an empty restaurant called Brus. These bandits required 100 mark each to get us out of there... Lyckily enough, we survived with no other loss than 70 mark a cab.. :/ Not good at all hotell Europe.. Thats not how you get rid of your guests. Since we were guests of your hotel, its your responsibility to get us safely out of there.
The location is excellent and the rooms comfortable. Valet parking is very convenient if you have a car.
Too large groups at breakfast at once so that certain items ran out quickly.
Breakfast was excellent, varied and good quality. Pool was nice too. Beds good, but sheets too small for them - and torn. Receptionists excellent, serviceable and friendly, tried their best to find me a room with Jacuzzi - could not - bad organisation.
Sauna and hammam not included in booking; prices for these facilities very high. Bathtub/jacuzzi in my room broke down first night - it took 45 min to get to new room -were unable to find another room with equivalent spa-bath - no list available. Housekeeping disorganized - each bathroom had different toiletries, mostly incomplete. Many rooms had black lampshades - could not read or see properly. Towels hard as cardboard. Too expensive for what it offers.
