Motel Bejturan is your home away from home. It is close to Bascarsija, it has very clean rooms, nice bed, breakfast included in the price, Bosnian Hospitality... We were going to Belgrade after our visit in Sarajevo. The internet did not help us find the right bus. So we called the Motel Bejturan in advance and they assisted us to find the right bus. Very Welcoming hosts, the owners, they treat you not like a customer but like their own guests. I would definitely stay in Motel Bejturan again the next time I visit Sarajevo.
Lovely helpful owner Lidia. Perfect central location. Nice decor.
My room and bed very small, though well equipped
very tiny rooms, but sweet
The hotel was great - and the proprietor was incredibly helpful, patient and courteous.
very helpful proprietor and good location for walking to old Turkish quarter, old Orthodox church and Synagogue. Good breakfast.
tight fit in bathroom
very friendly staff, the location is right across the road from the busy bazaar in a quiet side street. The rooms are very small but adequate unless you want to spend hours in a hotel room. great place
Everything, friendly staff, verynice location
I do not have enough great things to say about this place. The experience was perfect. The kindest people in the world, I felt like family. Perfect location, terrific breakfast and the rooms were fantastic. This hotel is a real treat.
Nice, clean, colorful accommodations. Right on the edge of the old market and close to a taxi stand. Staff was exceptionally nice, and even more so when we tried a little Bosnian - "Hvala!"
There was nothing we didn't like. What some might view as inconveniences -- the room did not get completely dark, it was right on a busy street, the calls to prayer were right outside our window, the taxi could not come right to the doorstep -- were easy to overlook and added to the experience.
The hotel is situated near the main street and centre. The view from our room was breathtaking. Rooms are new, cosy and comfortable. The landor lady was so nice, the stay was more pleasant. We definitely are comming back. Breakfast was full or different choises of food. The best place to stay in Sarajevo.
Location, very friendly staff, nice breakfast
No foreign language spoken by staff Traffic noise around the Clock Reluctant to take creditcards No cleaning of room during our stay
Cleanliness, the staff
The smallest room and bathroom I´ve ever seen
Great location, walking distance (3 minutes) to downtown, nice breakfast, friendly staff, nice and clean room (but pretty small).
limited english of staff
We had a great experience. The hostess was very kind. She didn't speak English, which might be a problem for other guests, but I don't think one should expect English in a foreign country. It was all OK because I speak the language, and so we had a nice conversation. Hostess (I think her name was Lida) brought us coffee when we arrived, and made us more in the morning. Breakfast was pretty good. Room was clean, but it was small. I am not complaining; it was perfect for the price. I will stay there again the next time I go to Sarajevo.
Nothing, it was a great stay.
Wonderwoman Lidia, who speaks only Bosnian and manages to get herself understood, look after guests' comfort, clean the place and fix breakfast; The location, fully accessible by taxi in a one-way street just above the central market place; The cleanliness of the minuscule 1-person room qhere every bit of space was cleverly utilised; the feeling of being in a doll house; The cleanliness and friendliness of the whole place;
This is a fabulous small hotel right in the heart of downtown Sarajevo. The lady running it was lovely warm and kind despite not speaking a word of English. The room I had was small but fully appointed, looking out onto the bust street below but quiet despite that. The food at breakfast was excellent and you could make your own coffee...a great bonus for those who find Bosnian coffee just a little too strong!
The steps leading up to Reception were broken and dangerous for anyone not too secure on their feet.Could do with imminent repair
The lady on reception was very helpful and friendly. She spoke no English but did everything to help us enjoy our stay, from unexpected coffee on arrival to plying us with extra breakfast. She hugged us when we left! The room was nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, and close to the restaurant and tourist area. Parking was close by and cheap.
The motel is on a busy road, and workmen started hammering and banging beneath our room before 8am. There was also a Muslim megaphone tower about 50m away that released random chanting, but this did stop at 10am.
The location and the staff
Exellent location- very close to old town Decent breakfasts Cute decor with lots of character Owner/host went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and treated us like a member of her own family. Although she did not speak fluent english, we would not hesitate in staying here again because she made us feel so comfortable and went out of her way everytime she saw us. When we brought fruit back from the markets she washed it for us and packed it up with napkins for our day trip and filled up our water bottles for us.
Our room was quite small but looked newly decorated and had lots of charm. This wasn't a deal breaker given location, price and how well we were treated by the host/owner.
Good brakfast and a lovely service provided by the owner of the house. Fresh towels on request and small thongs like umbrella were brought imediately. The location is realy in the centre of the old citiy.
Room is quite small and you can not close the bathroom door completely.
Kind staff, the place to stay if you visit Sarajevo.
