Friendly service, interest in the guest, anticipating need and offering support, friendly communication in preparation to travel
Loved the eastern decor staff were fabulous. Close to the old city. Car gps not reliable on the narrow roads, do not go directly up the hill, take the slight right up hill and follow the hotel signs you will end up at the hotel parking, near the cemetery.
Not a dislike for us but it's a slow steep uphill walk back from the old town.
Great hotel with excellent service. Staff was welcoming and friendly.
Staff was excellent and very kind.
Room was not heated, heating was turned on upon arrival.
Location, friendly staff.
- Style - Comfort - Location - Staff - Homely
- Breakfast - Wifi (slow)
Lovely welcome from receptionist. Hotel beautifully and traditionally furnished.
Room was far too small, we could not open our bags on the floor. The hotel is up a very steep hill, which makes it difficult for any older people, or anyone who has trouble walking.
We were 5 adults and had a family unit with 3 bedrooms which was excellent. Short stroll to the city centre and a high quality breakfast included. Staff were excellent.
Hotel Herc is perfect accommodation choice in case You want to visit Sarajevo. It's located in only few minutes walking distance from the old part of the Town. Parking is just above the entrance. It's very clean and comfortable. Staff is very kind and helpful. They told us where to eat and what to see. In front of the Hotel is a little table were we enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning. We are two couples who will definitely come back to Sarajevo and hotel Herc. Dubrovnik
Everything was perfect.
Very good location, close by old town, friendly staff , nice furitured rooms
Great location to walk to the old city. The staff are excellent, so nice, helpful, and informative. I left a bag there and they express shipped it the next day to my next hotel in another city. Good breakfast.
The view advertised on their website is not available unless you get a specific room so that is misleading since I booked the hotel for that view. The room was not super clean but it was ok. A bit older, tired decor and furnishings but for one night it was good.
large room, nice location close to the old town
Poor wifi signal
Nedzla and Alisa who are the receptionists are very hepful, nice and kind persons. Hotel and its location its great. Also thanks to our driver for Mostar, Blagaj and tunnel tour. Thank you guys.
The hotel is centrally located so that we could leave our car and walk to most of the places we wanted to visit. All the staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. They suggested additional places to visit and also helped me find some traditional local craft that I wanted. Breakfast was enjoyable. Our apartment was spacious and clean.
The stairs! Being from Australia and travelling for a long period of time meant that we have fairly large bags to cope with the change in seasons, etc but the staff were more than willing to help us get them to our room on the top floor (and back down on our departure). We greatly appreciated their help.
Good location, quiet, comfortable room, nice personel
parking place not fenced, breakfast could be better
The staff treated me like a family member, they speak great english. They are so helpful and they provided me some useful information. The hotel was clean and the location is wonderful. It's only 6 minutes away walking to Baščaršija.
we had the basement room..
Everything was excellent. Friendly and so helpful staff.,clean rooms, good breakfast with excellent coffee, free and guarded parking, very close to the old town , not expensive. I felt so much comfortable and like home. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.
Breakfast poor in comparison to the facilities offered by the hotel
Nice combination of modern and traditional, very friendly staff, close to the historical center of Sarajevo.
The ascent from the city center to the hotel can be some workout.
Rooms are not sound proof
Wifi is ok, close to old town, there were not space on parking, host moved his own car to let us park. Receptionist was friendly:)
Poorly cleared room. Breakfast could be better.
close to old town (5 mins walk) good breakfast (nice omelets) very helpful staff
towels didn't smell good, needed better washing as well as the bed sheets wifi was very poor
The hotel location is very good. It is very close to the old town. In less of ten minutes walking, you are in the middle of this fascinating town, mixture of the European and Asian cultures, religions and ethnic groups.
The hotel is on the hill and you need to climb a lot of stairs when you come back to hotel. At the first level where I stayed, rooms had the windows at the high level and you could not look outside. There was a problem with the warm water supply for the night when I was there and the breakfast in the morning was modest but the coffee was good. In spite of all these, I need to say that overall my sojourn was OK in this hotel.
