it was clean, stuff was polite and helpful,location is ok about 30 min walking from the center and 5-10 min by tram which you can take in 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. beds are comfort, all in all average 3 stars hotel.

they can improve breakfast as there are not many things to choose and if you go little bit late r9.30-10.00 it's almost empty.

So far, everything. After booking for two nights, I've decided to stay longer. It's such a well-run place with great staff, who are very friendly like Sarajevo in general. The rooms are large, furnished very well with a fine table and seating and the Internet connection is very good. There's a great choice for breakfast as well. I've been travelling for three months, and of the many hotels I've stayed at, Hotel Italia has been the best value for money. Patrick Sweeney

The hotel is great value for the price. Our room was large and clean, breakfast was more than adequate (choice of omelet in addition to pastries, cereal, etc,), and there are 2 private parking garages with security. WiFi worked perfectly, and staff was professional. Good place to stay 1 or 2 nights.

The walls are not as soundproof as you might want, and the heating is centralized so you can't change it. Also, the location is 5-10 mind drive from center...no problem with car, but keep this in mind. Restaurant also closes at 4 pm and nearby eateries a bit if a walk, so stock up on food if you come late.

Staff were excellent, very helpful at all times. Internet went down but they worked hard aat getting it fixed quickly. Breakfast was very good plenty to choose from. My room was large but could not class it as luxury but very adequate.

Bedroom radiators are noisey but got used to that quickly.

The staff was extremly friendly, helpful and polite.. The room was spatious and clean, nicely decorated and the breakfast also very good and diversified. Although the hotel is not located in the center, it is very easy to get wherever you want by taxi, at a reasonable price and with very correct and polite taxi drivers. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and we would pick the same hotel for our next visit to Sarajevo.

Location

The staff here are very friendly and helpful and really want to go the full distance to make your stay very happy. The hotel is situated within walking distance of all the major attractions but are not paying the increased rates of the major hotel chains. The rooms are huge in terms of floor area with a separate bedroom and with these factors I did not hesitate to extend my stay an extra two evenings. Its the perfect place to stay for any style of of business or leisure traveler and the price is also a steal.

Although it is not in center of city, you can go there in 20 min by walking. the room was really so large and clean, everything was nice

Staff was very nice and friendly! You get very much for the money. It takes about 10-15 min to the tram stop and railway station, a pleasant walk. To the old town it takes ca 15 min by tram, as well as to Ilidza.

we misssed vegetables to the breakfast! Strange becouse this time of the year vegetables are really cheap in Sarajevo.

Nice big hotel. We didn't request a room with a/c but when we traveled around mid July the weather was great and the breeze was comforting.

Hotel is located out of town center. You can walk but it is more convenient to take a cab (approx. 3 euros)

The hotel is a bit old but room is spacious, even a baby cot included. It was 15-20 mins walk from the bus station with luggages. I should have taken the taxi-- cost around 3.5km. Again, take a taxi to the old Town costs around 7km.

If you want to just visit city centre you are 45 min walk away from it, but a taxi will cost you 4 euros and about 7 euros to airport. It was hot, no air conditioning on room, but really small problem

some "details" have come into age and have not been repaired (e.g. a few windows and balcony doors not to be opened)

A friendly greeting, easy access to a large comfortable room, and a full and satisfying breakfast were all waiting for us at Hotel Italia. As off-season guests, we found the hotel to be a quiet respite from the pace of the city. It's hiker-friendly, but be prepared for a kilometer walk to the city center. Make sure your taxi driver from the train or bus station uses his meter.

There may be parking for guests, we're not sure, but the hotel's hillside corner location makes drop-off entrances and exits in rain or snow (not uncommon in Sarajevo) more adventurous.
