A friendly greeting, easy access to a large comfortable room, and a full and satisfying breakfast were all waiting for us at Hotel Italia. As off-season guests, we found the hotel to be a quiet respite from the pace of the city. It's hiker-friendly, but be prepared for a kilometer walk to the city center. Make sure your taxi driver from the train or bus station uses his meter. There may be parking for guests, we're not sure, but the hotel's hillside corner location makes drop-off entrances and exits in rain or snow (not uncommon in Sarajevo) more adventurous.

Breakfast was good and the rooms are well equipped. We stayed well and we were satisfied with the price. Only one bad thing is the smell of smoking in the hotel because we stayed with baby.

Very friendly staff st first. There was something mixed up by our reservation when we arrived at the hotel. But a fellow help us to solve a problem very quickly and without any nervousness. We had a free garage overnights. A hotel is placed on a location, which is not far away from the modern centre of Sarajevo and to Baščaršija. For the visits to those places we used taxi, which is cheap (prices for taxi: 8-10 KM to Baščaršija and 5-6 KM to the modern centre) and drivers are helpful. We would recommend Hotel Italia to everyone who want to get a kindness of Sarajevo people and fair service for fair price.

Hotelska soba ima prostrani dnevni boravak i odvojenu spavaonicu. Osoblje hotela je izrazito ljubazno. Također, hotel osigurava siguran parking u zatvorenoj garaži. Lokacija je izvrsna za poslovne aktivnosti, no za turiste je ipak malo izvan centra.

Prostranost soba I pun konfor sa kao I cistoca unutar soba I samog hotela Nista posebno,mada je u sobi 201 slavina inad lavaboa kapala.Treba je popraviti ili zamenuti ali nije zamerka nego cisto informacija za sluzbu odrzavanja hotela.

I really ejoyed the breakfast. It was good and rich: cereals, fruit, pate, cheese, cheese spread, salami, butter, jam, eggs, coffee, tea, juice, cocoa... The room was large and clean, bathroom also. The staff was very nice and arrange you everything you need. We could not exchanged the money in the hotel. The window and the balcony door could not be opened, because they were broken. So we could not ventilate the room. Towels and sheets were torn.
