Pansion Cardak  

Several things, especially the comfort, location and attentiveness of the owners.

The internet connection was poor.

The owner is very nice and kind, she welcomed us very friendly, the room we got was spacious and comfortable with a big terrace (which we had no chance to use, unfortunately, because of rain pouring down in Mostar in the only day we were there). The pension is situated very close to the Old Bridge and all other attractions in the Old Town.

The WIFI was not working in the room, but only in the common kitchen.

Brilliant location just meters from the Stari Most. Fully equipped units with mini kitchen and fridge. Suzane provided excellent service -nothing was too much trouble, even when we struggled with the Internet connection ! On site parking is a real bonus in the heart of this old town

Susana is really a nice person and full with hospitality. The house is good and clean, and very near the old bridge. The most important thing was that when we checked out and driven to the bus station for our next stop, we actually forgot a certain amount of money inside the room and she found out and rushed to the bus station to find us just before we got on the bus. I will really recommend Cardak!

We did not know the reason why the wifi did not work although there was signals but this does not bring too much trouble as we stayed there only for one night and the computer upstairs can work, so it should be fine.

The location, the owners and everything.

Small familly house, with rooms for guest on the first floor, owners are very friendly and so kind, they provide you what you want, a big kitchen with all that you need, room quiet big, weel equiped, bed is ok, wifi!

A little bit wet inside room because of near location to river.

Suzanne and Nez were extremely helpful and friendly. We called from a few blocks away and they met us in their car to lead the way. Their home is in the heart of Old Town, was demolished in the war, and has been completely rebuilt. An amazing story. You could not ask for better hosts or a better location to see Mostar. Our room with four single beds was bright with big windows and very clean. Parking was easy with the help of Nez -- he let us park in his garage! Internet was ok. The common kitchen was inviting with several tables. Suzanne was an instant friend and I want her to know how much we appreciated her hospitality.

Be prepared for very firm beds.

The wonderful hosts, great location, brilliant facilities.

Shower over bath could be improved by adding a curtain/screen and adjustable shower head bracket.

Very kind and friendly owners . Excellent facilities.Hotel is very close to famous bridge.You can choose breakfest in Hotel ,or in very close restaurant (1 min) and both are perfect.

Amazingly nice owners. Terrific Location. This is my second time staying at Pansion Cardak and it's as great I remember. I'd never stay anywhere else in Mostar. The Panison itslef is very nice but what really makes it is how kind and helpful the owners are. Suzanne speaks excellent english which makes getting to know her and Mostar so much better.

Pansion Cardak is situated 100metres away from the historic Stari Most, and around the corner from the Crooked Bridge. The owner Suzanna is the most friendly person we met on our trip (and we met many), and simply by virtue of her hospitality this hotel is a must-stay when in mostar. I daresay that you would probably never meet a more hospitable host. We arrived at the train station at 6pm, and she had offered to give us a lift from there for free if we called or emailed her. We managed to send her an email and received a reply almost instantly, and she and her husband received us no more than 10 minutes later. On arrival, she informed us that we could choose which room we wanted to stay in, as it was the off period. She offered to upgrade us to a bigger room with a personal kitchen for free as well! After choosing our room she prepared a welcome drink and snack for us, and made sure we were comfortable and settled in before reminding us that the reception is open 24 hours, just ring the buzzer at the maindoor. True to her word, she was ever-ready to open her door and greet us with a warm smile and to offer any help possible. She also managed to recommend and book a private tour (30€ for 4 hours, with vehicle transport) for us. The rooms were very spacious and comfortably furnished. The design of the room is extremely pleasant, beds are comfortable and toilets are very clean as well. Not the interior of a 5 star hotel, but not too far away either, especially for the price. At the end of our trip, Susanna and her husband again went out of their way to send us to the train station without charge, and we were only too sad to leave

We were greatly upset that we only stayed here for 1 night. We should have stayed here our whole trip if we could. Mostar is incomplete without Susanna's hospitality

Suzanna is a very friendly and nice host. She helped us around a lot. Her husband even drove us to bus station at 6.30 am. The pansion is only 1 minute to walk to the old bridge.

The owners were very nice and freindly the room was very clean.

Everything!Excellent hosts who could not have made us more welcome. Generous, helpful, accommodating, the world would be an even better place with people like this. Just lovely. Great location...but sad to see remnants of war in such a beautiful place. We would highly recommend staying here. We had a great room, quiet,very comfy beds and pillows, and kitchen with all ameneties to share with other guests. Our lovely host took us to the bus station at 6.30 am for our onward journey to Dubrovnik.

I have just spent two nights at the delightful Pansion Cardak and agree with all the positive reviews. A very friendly Suzanna greeted us and made sure we were settled after showing us the room and supplying us with maps etc. The welcome drink went down well on such a hot day. Inside our room (ground floor with private entrance) we could not find fault, it was perfect! A huge bed, a sofa area, a big tv, fast wifi, great shower (good pressure and always hot water), sink, fridge and hot plates with ample kitchen equipment and even little things like kitchen roll. There is great shelving in the room, including one with three plugs which was perfect for charging camera batteries etc. There are bedside tables on both sides of the bed and a variety of lighting options. The only negative for here is having to leave.........I just didn't want to. Nedzak was great in helping parking the car and showing us routes on the map. This couple must have met hundreds of people this summer, but speak to everyone like they are the first to stay. I can honestly say that in my 15+ years of travelling, this is the best place I have ever stayed.

Ideally situated, almost "on" the Old Bridge. Our room was very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the rooftops of the Old Town. Above all, of our hosts made our stay memorable. They came out to meet and guide us back to the Pansion after we had been circling around for a long time (beware the gps's in these old cities where streets twist, turn, merge....) Helpful, friendly, they welcomed us in their hearts and their lives for a little more than 24 hours. Pansion Cardak is no Hilton, but we would choose it over the Hilton 1,000 time over. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who gave us a free welcome drink. Excellent location to the city. The suite was very clean and new with a small outside area and parking. Lots of nearby restaurants.

The owners of the Pansion were incredible. They came out of their way to meet us and greet us. Suzana and Nedzad were perfect hosts. The apt is in an amzing location in the old town, right near shopping, the bridge, and restaurants. The apartment was clean, well appointed with wi-fi, flat screen, a/c, and we had a beautiful balcony. Loved this place.

The best thing about Pansion Cardak is the incredibly friendly owners. They went out of there way to help us and make us feel welcome...even washing our clothes and driving us to the bus station at 6.30am. They really made our stay in Mostar and I would definitely recommend staying with them.

Everything was perfect. Both Suzanna and her husband made us very welcome in their pansion. Though it ranks among pansion, the rooms are as comfortable as four-starred hotel. Obviously,there are many employees in a hotel, but Suzanna's attitude makes everything so delightful.

Our host and hostess were incredible. Could not have been kinder and more welcoming. Juice and ice creams on arrival and a lift to bus station on departure. Excellent location close to Mostar Bridge, very comfortable room and absolutely spotless.

For a two night stay the accommodation (triple room with terrace) meet our needs (3 adults) very well and its location was ideal (close to the Bridge but far enough away to be quiet). The terrace extended our living space which we very much enjoyed. Our host was very gracious,accommodating and helpful. Very good restaurant recommendations.
